Why the Owner Chose East End
I fell in love with this area while traveling the panhandle. The nautical feel of the mainland, slow pace and pristine beaches were exactly what my husband and I were looking for. We don't like crowds or traffic and love kayaking, fishing and walking the beaches. This place is so peaceful. Don't forget to bring your kayaks or rent them on the island in the link I have provided. The bike path is great for kids - safe and is easily accessible in front of our house.
The Unique Benefits of this House
We can launch our Boston whaler fishing boat in the State Park located less than a mile from our house, saving time and gas. We keep our kayaks out on our pier for instant launching. My husband loves to fish from his fishing kayak in the bay behind the house. Kids love watching the fiddler crabs on the sprit behind the house. Our dog loves to chase the birds on the dog friendly beach.
I like to watch the spectacular sunsets from our pier.
Our secluded private pool is surrounded by flowering bushes and attracts songbirds and hummingbirds.

We loved the combination of access to ocean, the bay, and a beautiful, screened-in swimming pool. The house was perfect for relaxing, cooking, and spending time with family. Situated near the end of the residential part of the island, the location is ideal. St. George is perfect for those looking to unwind and explore a very uncommercial part of Florida. We look forward to returning.
