It’s exactly as pictured, but nicer. We had a nice time at this location and even got to see it snow! For us Floridians, that was a treat. Thank you very much for providing a clean and pleasant house to stay in. It is a very comfortable home. The creek was accessible; we found both sets of stairs on either end of the property. The house is secluded, though there are other houses around, so you’re alone, but not really alone in case you need to get to someone, and the drive up to the house and driveways (2) are very easy to manage. We had no problems at all during our stay. I would definitely recommend this location to everyone. The house is close (about 8 minutes) to Copperhill, TN where there are restaurants and a small grocery store (IGA). Blue Ridge is about 15 minutes away.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

We had a wonderful time. The house was extremely nice to stay in. We, too, had difficulty getting to the creek. Terrible overgrowth on banks and too many low trees. Spent more time getting lines untangled than fishing. We only found one set of steps but we feared if it was on someone else's "private" property. Walked well down the other side but didn't find any steps. Also, driveways were difficult to back out of with no turnaround. However, the house and location were perfect and we would return to this house.Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: The creek is a national protected trout stream and the banks cannot be disturbed. This is one of the few properties that has steps and there are concrete stairs beyond the pine tree line. The property is served by 3 driveways. Backing out of driveways is not necessary if you choose to park on the drive directly in front of the house.

We loved the home, creek and kitchen. It is really hard to find a pet friendly place and we were thrilled with this home. It was quiet, clean well equiped and Barry the owner was GREAT. I would highly recommend. We will definately go in the summer. Our experience usually is the places we rent are not as nice as describled but this was in fact even better.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children.

Three couples spent a short week here in October and thoroughly enjoyed it. The home was better than the pictures showed, the property peaceful, the home well kept and well stocked. It was one of few homes that had plenty of seating for everyone and two rooms where the TV watchers could be happy and the readers peaceful. The ouside deck with firepit was our favorite where we spent great evenings enjoying the stars and each other. We had a lot of fun hiking nearby trails and seeing the beautiful fall colors A great vacation and great owner to work with. Will come again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.
