This is a one of a kind log cabin with a lot of character! Located on Long Island on Lake Winnipesaukee, there is plenty to do on your vacation. If you don?t want to spend the day at the lake, drive up on Mt. Washington, explore the caves of Lost River, go see the Old Man in the Mountain, play at Fun Spot, drive an hour to the coast for lobster, take M/S Mount Washington to Weirs Beach or Wolfeboro for lunch...
The cabin is located on a big piece of land in the woods with plenty of privacy. The only neighbors you will see are the deer. It is a minute walk to the private lake front, which has a deck, picknick table, beach chairs, fire place, good swimming and awesome sunsets! The lake front has a small shed on it, but there is no other house on it. You can see the lake front from the end of our driveway. It is also a public beach and a marina a couple of minutes drive down the road fro those of you looking for beach action and sandy beaches.
The main cabin has a loft with a bedroom and a queen bed. There is also a little "sleeping nook" next to the bedroom with a toddler bed and room for a crib. Let us know if you need to borrow one! The main level holds a huge fireplace, a fold out couch, dining table and the kitchen. The ceilings are tall with 9 birds flying on windy days. There is a full bath. The basement has bunk beds, a ping pong table and a wood stove.
Out in the bunk house is the kids favorite place. It has a futon, a top and bottom bunk, as well as two corner bunks. Everything in this one of a kind log cabin is build to perfection with a lot of detail and character. You will fall in love with it! |
