Our year-round log home is situated approximately eight miles southeast of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. It is within walking distance of two beautiful public beaches and two lighthouses. The cabin is surrounded by six and a half acres of quiet solitude and abundant wildlife. Along with the furnished kitchen, we supply our renters with wood for the fireplace and outside firepit, paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, kleenex), coffee filters, dishwashing liquid, various cleaning products. We feel that the environment is perfect for your pets.
Because we are situated on six acres, the privacy we offer is just what you may need to unwind from your busy life. The stars on a clear night are awesome. The sound of the waves from Lake Michigan (two blocks away) is soothing. We provide our guests with a "small" bottle of wine as a welcoming gift. Door County, for those not familiar with its long history of hospitality, will not be disappointed in the beautiful surroundings, wonderful restaurants, numerous parks, quaint villages and breathtaking sunrises or sunsets.

We have stayed here twice and plan on returning again. The cabin is decorated so beautifully and is really comfortable. Fireplace, BBQ, jacuzzi tub, books, CD player, everything needed for comfort. The deck is very nice and there is even an outside yard swing. I can't say enough nice things about this cabin. I would recommend this to anyone looking for peace, quiet and relaxation. We loved going for walks.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Six adults, one baby, and two dogs stayed here for the weekend. There are three bedrooms each with a comfortable queen bed. The loft bedroom has its own half bath and there is a full bath with separate shower and jacuzzi tub downstairs. The living room has a high beamed ceiling and fireplace. Dinette has a table for six. Nice wrap around porch with charcoal grill, fire pit area, and plenty of outdoor seating. Lovely wooded setting and very private. Description and photos are very accurate. Drawbacks are: far from town and other sights since it is at the southern part of the county, kitchen it very small and not much counter space or room to cook, lots of things everywhere: not much room for your things and not easy with a baby or small children.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, pet owners, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway.
