We spent 6 nights in this house and overall we were very pleased and satisfied with the house. The location of the house is great providing easy access to downtown, Ruth Hardy Park, the airport and the Palm Canyon shops. The set up of the house also works well for 2 couples with kids. The large master suite is very roomy and comfortable and the other bedroom with en suite bath doubles just fine as a second master. The guest bedromm and office work well as kids bedrooms. The living areas of the house are roomy and the pool and hot tub are fantastic. The only area that was dissapointing to me was that much of the paint and some finishes throughout the house were pretty beat up. It's pretty clear that this house has been used a lot this season and the interior needs a new coat of paint in many areas, some carpet could be replaced and some of the blinds are getting towards the end of their lives. Also, swapping out the old "tube" TVs for flat screens would be a nice upgrade to match the otherwise high-end finishes in the house. These are pretty minor points though, and overall, we had a great week, we really enjoyed the house and we'd recommend the house to anyone looking for a very nice, but reasonably priced Palm Springs rental.

Owner response:Hi Christian, thanks for your kind review. Fortunately, I bought this house on February 24, 2012 and it has been rented every day since then. I am aware of the need for a fresh coat of paint and new shades for the windows, and these things will be accomplished as soon as there is an ample vacancy. I will also be replacing the "tube" television as you suggested with a 50" flat screen. The pool was recently sandblasted since that could be done with the current renters on site. Hi Kevin, I just wanted to let you know that I and all my friends had an absolutely phenomenal time at the house over New Year's. It's gorgeous and spacious and beautifully appointed, with everything we could possibly have needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for having it in such great shape. dealing with your house manager Claudia was terrific -- she's a treat and was very helpful and accommodating. So, thanks for a wonderful stay. With family scattered all over the country, we had a wonderful, fun, and relaxing weekend in Palm Springs, and celebrated my brother's 30th birthday in style. We particularly loved the beautiful spa and pool, the well equipped kitchen, proximity to the airport (without irritating noise), and the whole house music system. 9 girlfriends and I just spent the weekend at this great home. It was perfect for our long weekend get-a-way and had every convenience necessary for our group and stay. I would highly recommend this. We will be back - hopefully for longer next time!
