"Whalerock" cabin is perched high on the edge of the San Bernadino forest with unobstructed mountain views all around. The sunset views are amazing. Cozy up by the wood-burning stove, relax on our decks, do whatever you want...This cabin is all about you while you're here.
With the forest right across the road, you don't need to go far for your wilderness hike. The private lake is a short walk away, 500 feet to be exact. You can swim, lay on the beach, fish, stroll along the shoreline, rent a row boat kayak or pedal-boat...Nothing motorized allowed here. This is all about relaxing and just "going back in time" to a place like no other. The cabin is on a cul de sac so it is very private.
This quaint village has only a few shops, but you can get everything you need here. We have a market, video store/gift shop, two restaurants (great pizza), hardware/lumber store and a post office in the "Little Red House". All within walking distance. One thing you won't find here are crowds. If you're looking to get away from it all, this is the place for you. You won't need to get into your car unless you decide to drive up to Big Bear (40 minutes) or down to Lake Arrowhead (20 minutes). It's your choice. |
