This is a great two bedroom, two bath condominium with West Indies décor and views of the Gulf of Mexico and Little Lagoon and conveniently located in the heart of Gulf Shores' West Beach.
The master bedroom contains a king-size bed for sleeping and a walk-in closet for all your clothes/luggage and treasures you acquire while at the beach. Television in the Master Bedroom. The master bedroom also contains a sliding glass door to access the unit's wrap around balcony. There is also an extra twin mattress that would sleep two children.
The second bedroom contains a queen-size bed and spacious closet as well as a sliding glass door to access the balcony. The Guest Bedroom also has a TV. The living room is incredibly furnished with a wing chair/leather arm chair/chenille sofa-sleeper that will accompany extra guest (s) as well as a cozy environment. There is a large TV with DVD player in the Living Room.
There is also a sliding glass door to access the balcony from the living area. The dining room contains a round table with four chairs and three barstools along the kitchen's spacious countertop. Both bathrooms have marble countertop sink vanities/toilets/fiberglass tub/shower combination.
Outdoor balcony has patio furniture. It is 6 feet wide x 30 feet long. The pool downstairs has patio furniture, lounge chairs an outdoor grill and dining table.
Stay here and have all the beauty of the gulf for half the price of a direct gulf front unit. Walk across to the beach from this unit is approximately 50 YARDS. You can see the beach, Gulf of Mexico turquoise water and also the beautiful lagoon water from this balcony. Assigned covered parking. Beautiful sparkling pool to cool down from the beautiful sunny days on the beach.

Why the Owner Chose Sandy Shores West
The location of this property was the reason we purchased the unit. We loved the beautiful views of the lagoon and gulf from the extra large balcony. The unit is very spacious and we took extra time to completely remodel it when it was purchased.

The ceramic tiled floors and beautiful custom black-out drapes along with the special amenity of having a 2nd bath make this an extra special unit! The pool is great during the heat of Summer as well!

Okay, but not exactly the view as described

The location of this property was very nice for the price and the overall arrangement and space is good. We arrived on the evening of check in, and the owner was still cleaning and surprised that we were there. The appliances and cookware in the kitchen are more than sufficient; however, this condo needs serious updating and the view is exaggerated. The direct view from the deck is of a dilapidated home. To get the view described, one has to look directly down the deck, across the road. The space in this condo is generous, but some $ needs to be spent on renovations. There are cracked tiles, duck taped outlets in the kitchen that are a hazard, a couch with flat cushions, a bathroom vanity that has been chewed or just deteriorated, and a bathtub faucet that has gaps and is loose. Does the phrase partied in hard and put up wet mean anything to anyone? That describes this condo. I would only recommend this unit to someone who is looking for pet friendly accomodations and does not want to spend much money nor cares much about the quality of the accomodations. The beach, however, is really lovely!
Owner response:The pictures here from VRBO are the actual pictures of the condominium. The locatoin and view of the beach are just as described. There are no outlets with duct tape on them. We have had a successful year in booking and offer a beautiful property for the price. The property is very well maintained and offers a great value for people looking for a great vacation at the beach. The ability to bring your pet with you also is an added bonus to most of our guests.

This was our second time at Gulf Shores. We had a wonderful time and stay. The condo had everything we needed. Short walk to the beach. My daughter loved the pool. It was refeshing to jump in the pool after a long hot day on the beach. Great location as well. It was a short distance to the restaurants and the main road. We loved the beach, spent everyday in the beautiful water. Thanks!!

I stayed here with my dog and 3 kids! It was wonderful. Easy access to downtown Gulf Shores (great for my girls), and to Lagoon Pass (great for my boy and Luci). The only thing I wish it had was a shower outside so we could rinse before coming up to the condo. But other then that, the people that were staying in the other condos were very nice. Very Comfortable!!! We are looking forward to staying again!

Beautiful beaches were all we saw on our trip to the beaches in Alabama! We loved your condo and all of its amenities! Thanks for the wonderful time. This was the best value we've ever had! Thanks so much for allowing us to bring our pets with us on our last minute getaway before the holidays! We loved your beautiful condominium and all that it had to offer. Your pet friendly unit allowed us to enjoy the beach and keep our "loved ones" on our trip. The beautiful balcony and views were incredible. We also loved the short walk to the beach. There were great seafood restaurants and groceries nearby that made it easy for us to fix a quick meal in your great kitchen! We also had a seafood boil and were pleasantly surprised that you had all the pots and pans we needed. Thanks again and we will see you again in 2011!

Thanks for your attention to detail and making our vacation stay for 3 months a spectacular one! You were very attentive to our needs and we appreciate the cable television in both bedrooms. The blackout drapes were also beneficial-since we like to sleep late in the morning. We had a chance to visit other "snowbird" condominiums. The location of this condo is so convenient and nice. We loved everything about this condo!

Shrimp Festival was so amazing this year and staying at your condo mad it so easy to get too! We definitely enjoyed your convenient location! The proximity to everything in town and yet the privacy of the beach is just what we needed. We will definitely come back!

We chose to come down to your condo for Christmas this year and we had the best time! Your condominium was very well stocked in the kitchen! We also loved the views of the lagoon and the beach and enjoyed the large private balcony! The individual televisions in each of the bedrooms and living room made everyone happy-as we could each watch what we wanted. Your condominium is so nicely furnished and we plan on coming back several times in 2011.
