Our stay at Toccoa House was just perfect. A gorgeous house and excellently provisioned. The bedrooms and baths were large and comfortable, the kitchen was equipped with everything we could possibly need, the huge dining room table accomodated all 13 of us with room to spare. The walk to the river was well marked and the area by the river was just beautiful. We loved the easy proximity to downtown Blue Ridge and the great shopping and dining there. Our visit was in February, we would love to come back in the fall. Toccoa House is the nicest cabin we have ever rented....I can highly recommend it to any group, but especially families. The easy drive from Atlanta was another plus!!

Spent the week before Christmas at the cabin. This was our 8th year enjoying the Taccoa house! We have a wonderful time each year. The accomodations are always wonderful! The kitchen is perfectly equipped! We have been going to the mountains for Christmas for over 15 years; since we found the cabin we feel like it is coming home each year!!!

Our family of eight adults spent a week in mid December the Taccoa House, and will do so again soon if possible. The property is fantastic, as is the house itself. Very nicely decorated, and Christmas decorations as well. We felt like we were completely secluded and on our own, which is what we wanted. Allowing pets was a big plus as well. These owners do a great job with upkeep of the property. A must stay...unless you're trying to go when we go again...

Our family recently convened from different parts of the Southeast at Toccoa House for a wonderful October vacation. The location on the Toccoa River is ideal, and the views in all directions are beautiful. We loved having private areas including our own baths. The playroom was our main gathering place, and we really enjoyed the big screen TV, the pool table, the huge dining room table, and the hot tub. We hiked all the trails around the property and kayaked down the river to Copper Hill. Since we cooked all our meals, my only recommendation would be some updated cookware and sharper knives. However, it is a great house with every amenity a large group could want. We definitely would come back.
Owner response:Thanks and we're glad you loved the place. We, too, noticed that a few of the pans were getting a bit worn and have replaced them, along with sharpening all of the knives.

This was our second trip to the Toccoa House and it fits our needs perfectly. There are 8 of us ladies ranging in age from 49 to 64 so we need the space, sleeping quarters and bathrooms. Everything was in good working order and the cabin was very clean. All beds were comfortable and the cabin was stocked well for our needs. The weather was sunny and nice and we did a lot of walking but it was too cool for the pool, which we probably wouldn't have used anyway, as we just like to walk and talk. WIth the weather so nice, we played lots of BINGO on the back deck and yes, you can definitely expect us back.

My family enjoyed the cabin, except for all the fines that would occur if furniture was not back in place , that was kind of silly. Also I thought from the pictures the river was right near the cabin, it was very hard to get to and the view was obstructed. The main porch should be screened and a roof over head, it would have been used more. All in all it was a nice place for a family reunion.

We have stayed at the Toccoa House before and loved our time there! The photos do not do the house justice! It is beatiful and very well maintained. Our family had a great time - would love to visit again sometime! Greg and Dana were great about answering emails very quickly, no problems at all! Everything was perfect! Thanks for your great southern hospitality! Smith family

WE HAVE VISITED THE TOCCOA HOUSE PROPERTY TWICE AND HAVE LOVED EVERY MIN. THE HOUSES ARE CLEAN, HAVE PLENTY OF EVERYTHING YOU NEED. I LIKE THE TOCCOA HOUSE FOR MY FAMILY THE BEST BECAUSE IT IS CLOSEST TO THE POOL. THE ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE BETTER WOULD BE A SCREENED PORCH AND MORE LIGHT ON IT. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL WE CAN VISIT AGAIN! MAGGIE FROM SOUTH GA.

We are one family with 7 kids that had a blast at the Toccoa House, We rent vacation homes all the time and my kids rated this one our best choice yet. The house was huge and well laid out for large groups, extremely clean, well stocked with linens and dishes. The boys loved playing pool on their private wing of the house. The little girls loved the hot tub at the house and the wonderful pool just a short walk away. Everything was top notch. Loved the sound system throught the house and the spacious kitchen. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Lots to do in the area. Tubing, horseback riding, whitewater rafting, boating on the lake, etc. We are planning to return next summer. Excellent value for a high end property in a beautiful location!

WE LOVED our stay at the Toccoa House. Everything was as advertised. The house was well stocked, clean, lovely decor and very comfortable. We actually met the owners who were professional, likable and very helpful. We also met the family member who manages the property and we can say the same things about her. We have been coming to Blue Ridge for about 10 years for vacations year around at several different houses. Each season has its own beauty. We especially enjoyed having a pool for our summer trip this year. It was a huge plus for our teenager! The pool was very nice and well maintained. My husband and dog would say the river was a nicest asset. Bill enjoyed the fishing and Lucky enjoyed the swimming. The property was easy to find and to navigate. Another positive is the website. We like to have a feel for where we are going. The website is well done and very informative. The only negative we have pertains to the house itself. The lack of a television on the main floor in the living area around the nice dining room and kitchen seemed a loss in that area. As I understand sharing time with family does not have to be with the TV going, there were times that it would have been nice to be able to have that activity at our disposal. We will definitely come back to your properties. We would also like to try the Heron House. As for recommending it to others, we are looking at your houses for a family reunion next summer!

We love this place so much, we keep coming back year after year. The kitchen is fantastic, and the table is great for dinner with larger groups. It's secluded, even when there are other renters on property you never see them. All the beds are very comfy, and having plenty of bathrooms makes getting ready in the mornings a breeze. We cannot wait to stay again.

This was our second year staying at the Toccoa House, and it was just as amazing as the first. It's secluded and great access to the riverfront. The kitchen is great for large groups, and the dinning table can actually seat everyone. The view is wonderful, and the pool table and media room in the basement are superb.

The Toccoa House is an amazing house that is large for the whole family. It's spacious, opulent, and a comfortable house to get away from the noise of the city. The view is beautiful and the amenities are plenty. Our church family had a great time at the Toccoa House and we hope to visit again next year!

This was our very first trip to Blue Ridge. The Toccoa cabin was the perfect place for our group (16 people). We fit comfortably and a great time was had despite a setback on our first 2 days there. Propane leak followed by no propane at all. It was just our luck! We were told by cabin owner we were the only people in 10 years to ever have this happen. I hope it is the last time it happens as well. Overall we had a great time, enjoyed the beautiful scenery and will coming back to Blue Ridge next year!
