It's my first day at camp this year and I'm already having soo much fun. It's my 3rd year at the camp and I always look forward to coming back every year. I love the Ponderosa.

We had a wonderful time! You have everything there, whenever someone was in need of something, even a pencil sharpener to do homework, we found it. Brian's parents came for dinner on Saturday night and it brought back memories for his Dad, who grew up on Fern Lake. Everyone wants to do it again next year. Maybe we can try it when it's a bit warmer so we could swim but if there's nothing available we'd still love to come in the fall. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your home on the lake.

Thank you so much for letting us have the camp for another week. We had a great week! The weather was great and the kids had a blast in the water....playing on the dock, going to Sand Beach and fishing. We all had some much needed R&R and all the cousins had a lot of bonding time. Again the camp is so perfect for all of us and it is so accomodating.....anything we could possibly need is here. It's so nkce to come to a place and just have to pack food and clothes. Bobby, thanks so much for the boatride. The kids really had fun, esp. because they got to drive. thanks for another memorable summer vacation. Back to Vermont!

Another great year at the Ponderosa! Much better weather this year. We swam, fished, boated, jumped from the raft, played tag, bean bags, wiffle ball, etc. We even had the twins 9th birthday party while we were here. Their friends loved the camp too. Thank you for everything, including the motor boat rides. We look forward tonext year. Thanks again. PS. The kids still aren't brave enough to sleep in the boathouse alone! Maybe next year.

Our grandchildren & grandchildren have enjoyed the view, the ducks, the firepit, eating together. Even the outhouse! What a surprise to find such a place filled with your memories and fully equipped kitchen, etc. What a time we had. As we wind down the sun has been very favorable and will allow us one last fire, one last supper and toast. Thank you.

We had never heard of Fern Lake before, Nor knew onything of the Ponderosa lore. But having now been here not one week but two, we are grateful to the Meconi clan, Bobby and Sue. Both friends &family dropped by and stayed, and a cake, casserole & fond memories were made. We swam, canoed, kayaked and paddled, at ping, cards,croquet & darts we battled; Small bass, perch and many bluegills & sunfish we caught, but alas, not the trophy fish we so sought. One thing that came as a bit of surprise, were the 14 varieties of biting flies. But they really turned out not to be a big deal and we still enjoyed the loons and bald eagle looking for a meal. We also loved hiking, and the castle on Mt. Whiteface. trekking to Burlington, Lake Placid and the Chasm space. Our favorite throwback was the oven called Custom Imperial, that we could admire while eating our cereal. All-in-all, it was a great time we had. Returning here next year, we will be glad.

Thanks for the memories. We had one of the best card games....The mountains are beautiful. We loved the boathouse. the boys had so much fun with ping pong, fishing and swimming. I finally saw my first eagle! A great time.

I love the ccamp. It is a fantastic place with a homelike feel. We probably caught some of the smallest fish possible. I enjoy fishing and this brought me back to my school days. Thank you for providing a lovely experience.

Dear Sue and Bob, We had a great stay. I swam every day. I have been kayaking (well at least trying to). The boathouse is so much fun. I played darts and ping pong a lot. We watched a movie almost every night. We made a fire a lot. I can't wait to come back next year.

Relaxing, spacious, wonderful family retreat. Tons of things to do on rainy days (ping pong, movies, board games). Sue and Bob are very friendly and wonderful "landlords". The only drawback was the weather and no one can control that. A great place for families. By far the nicest backyard on the lake. Thanks for opening your home!

This is, by far, the best camp on Fern Lake. The camp is in excellent condition and has everything you need. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. Six days is not enough. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to start a Fern Lake tradition at the historic Ponderosa.

Thank you for the use of your special family retreat. The view was breathtaking and there's nothing like canoeing and kayaking early in the morning to the call of loons on a glass lake. We really appreciated the expansive lawn and all the land and water toys as well as the ping pong table in your great boathouse.
