Charming 1950's cottage has been totally renovated, offering all it's original charm with modern conveniences. Old hardwood floors, original stainless steel countertops and tongue and groove walls with modern appliances, designer bathrooms and kitchen, custom cabinets and top of the line mattresses.
The cottage was designed for the family with young children. The tasteful "Winnie the Pooh" bedroom is designed with a Pooh-like tree to crawl between beds. The kids bunkroom sleeps five children and has a private bath with kid-sized toilet and tub--complete with outhouse door. Each bunk offers its own reading lights. The room is stocked with kids toys, games and a large flat-screen TV with DVD player and many kids' movies. There is a high chair, pack and play and wagon(for trips to the beach).The private pool was designed with the kids in mind. The 15-by-20-foot pool is both heated and cooled. It has a additional nine-by-nine-foot sunning shelf/shallow area with a water wall.
The adults in the family will enjoy the beautifully-furnished bedrooms, each with a queen bed and the modern bathrooms and kitchen designed by an award winning kitchen/bath designer. The cottage is two short blocks from the beautiful beaches offering both the ocean and the lake outflow, where small kids congregate to play in the shallow, warm waters and catch small sea creatures. Just one block from the area's best known restaurant, The Red Bar, there will be no more two-hour waits for a table. Just wait on your porch swing and enjoy the ambiance of the area.
