A group of friends and I just got back from a weekend excursion up to Warwick, NY. After doing some research online and not coming across The Barn beforehand, a neighboring bed and breakfast owner passed on the recommendation for this lovely place, and we are elated that he did! Located only a little over an hour out of the city, this place is ideal for an easy getaway, not to mention the town of Warwick is adorably quaint and filled with fun activities and events for all seasons. The Barn went above and beyond our expectations. That cozy cabin in the woods feel is amplified by the excellent decor. Hannah and Pat and their son Max who live next door and run the Barn are wonderfully friendly hosts. We will be recommending The Barn to anyone and everyone looking for the perfect upstate adventure.

We spent a long weekend here and loved it so much we didn't want to leave! The owners are such generous and hospitable hosts, they make you feel so welcome, relaxed and at home. The rental part of the property is completely private but you have full use of the large surrounding garden, complete with slide, swings, hammock, kiddie pool and toys for the kids. Inside the property is everything you need for a relaxed and comfortable self-catering stay. There's also loads to do in the local area, including apple picking, wine tasting, breakfast at a farm, etc. We highly recommend the place and hope to stay there again!

Our family had a great stay at the barnhouse. It was clean!! The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils, pans, cookie sheets, salt pepper and olive oil, etc., all of which are important to us. the grounds were nice, and our toddler played on the sand box and swings and ran around a bit. The owners are wonderful, kind, and attentive.

A nap ride away from NYC! This barnhouse vacation was better than we could have imagined. Perfect for our family of 3 with an 18 month old. Excellent, well equipped interior space with very comfortable beds, Has EVERYTHING you need for a home away from home. Beautiful exterior space with lush grass and animal visitors. well equipped with fun stuff for kids, like a trampoline, a swing set, and sprinklers.

Stayed here for a mini getaway with my family. The rental itself was super comfortable. We especially liked the nursery since we have a baby, and the comfy master suite. The decor was also really beautifully done with vintage pieces and cheery colors. The grounds - the back yard and the swing set -- were stellar for our four-year-old boy. And the couple who own the property were exceptionally accommodating. Can't wait to go back. Want to explore more of the area, especially the state parks and take a visit to the drive-in nearby.

My family and I recently stayed at the barn while we attended my cousin's graduation from West Point. The location was close enough for easy access to the post yet made for a wonderful adventure for our family. The barn comfortably slept 5 adults with each one of us having enough space. It was nice to finish our busy days in a place that felt like a home and not a standard hotel room. Due to the quick paced weekend, the fully furnished kitchen was extremely handy for us to keep food and snacks.

We came to the barnhouse with our two small children and found the experience absolutely wonderful and so we extended our stay. The barn is charming, clean and well maintained. Its also stocked with everything two small children need without feeling overwhelmed. Its tastefully decorated with all the amenities. Hannah, Patrick and Max were great hosts providing us with everything we needed and more. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay but we will definitely go back and recommend this to friends. Warwick itself is nicely located just 1.5 hours from New York City with fresh air and easily accessible nature all around. I also can recommend a private Gyrokinesis session with Hannah - she worked with me as a first time student and has all the equipment. Overall, this was a great spot for our family and we look forward to our next trip.

my husband, two kids and i come to the barn regularly, particularly during the spring and fall. the barn is wonderful -- a home away from home. one of the reasons why it's such an inviting hangout is that it's decorated like a real home, not with "throw away" furniture as other rental properties. pat and hannah make wonderful hosts, available to direct you and equally willing to disappear and let you be. we've come to the barn over the past two years and have created a routine up there that includes chatting with pat, hannah and max (the owners), hiking in wawayanda state park, getting ice cream at bellevale creamery and just relaxing.
