Designed by a renowned Naval Architect and built by tug boat captains the maritime theme runs through the entire location. Marine prints, antiques, and leather sofa in the saloon with cable TV and gas fireplace is a great place to hang out. The bedroom feels like a first class cabin on a steamer and the teak paneled bath with brass sink completes the feeling of being on board a ship. The full kitchen is furnished with plates, dishes, toaster right down to the coffee and coffee maker. Condiments, spices, tea and coffee supplied. Should you have a special request we will be glad to supply it. Step out onto you private balcony overlooking School Creek and the West River. Your kayaks and bikes are only a few feet away (included in the rental fee). If you are a sailor or wish to learn sailboats and/or lessons are available. If you like to fish drop a line off your private dock or just wander in the garden nd watch the birds. You can kayak, bike, or walk to the local restaurants. Annapolis and the Naval Academy are ten miles away, Washington DC and the Smithsonian are 30 miles away and Baltimore with the National Aquarium are only 40 miles away. Go play in the big city and come home to peace and quiet. The main house is available on a very limited basis by special arrangement.
