Visit Bologna, Italy in a Vacation Villa A former two-story, very welcoming typical 1800's Bolognese rural house, Villa Genziana is located in the Calderara section of Bologna, only a few kilometers from the center of town. It benefits from good public transportation connections and is extremely convenient to the airport and the fairground. The villa offers a private parking and a pretty fenced yard with lawn and a barbecue for relaxation and child safety. It underwent total renovation in May 2004 paying particular attention to effective insulation, decoration, details, and functionality. Villa Genziana is gas heated and firewood is available for the fireplace. Cotto floors, timber ceilings, and traditional Italian rural furniture chosen with taste and zest, mix with all the necessary modern appliances including a dishwasher, a washing machine, an air-conditioning system, a microwave oven, a TV with VCR and a computer plug-in. All this, to make your stay at Villa Artemisia exactly like home -- or even better! All the rooms in the villa are bright and charming. The first floor consists of an entryway, a large living room with a fireplace and twin-size sofa bed, a kitchen (with all tools provided), a bathroom with a Jacuzzi and shower, a laundry room and a small storage room. The second floor has one large bedroom (with two twin-size beds or one queen-size bed plus one single sofabed), with own bathroom. And there's one smaller bedroom (with two twin-size beds or one queen-size bed plus a bunk bed) with its own bathroom. The property owners, Alberto and Anna (both corporate persons in the field of electronics), live about 200 yards from the villa in the middle of their own land, while Alessandro, their son, lives with his wife just next door and is available for assistance. With its central location and general features, Villa Genziana is ideal for those wanting to divide their days between relaxing and sightseeing. Along with the center of Bologna, all the major northern-central Italian art cities are just a stone's throw away. The villa is also ideal for the business person in need of a strategically-positioned headquarters that's close to the fairground, the airport and the highway. All guests will enjoy total comfort and absolute convenience -- exactly as you wish.
