The cabin was a perfect getaway for the weekend. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer. Everything was clean and in working order. The children loved it. We will book here everytime we visit the white mountains.

WE SPEND NEW YEARS VACATION ON THIS BEAUTIFULL CHALET, THE PROPERTY IS AMAZING MY KIDS HAVE THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES IN THE SNOW, ALSO SLEEPING IN THE LOFT ALONG SIDE THE BEAR TROPHY WAS GREAT, THIS CHALET WE RECOMEND IT FOR A FAMILY VACATION , THE EXPERIENCE WAS ALL WE EXPECTED AND MORE, THE OWNER WAS VARY KIND AND MANTAINED US UPDATED ON THE SNOW CONDITIONS.

Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with all necessary cooking equipment. Chuck was readily available by phone and answered all questions promptly.

my family and i stayed for 3 days mid oct 2011....i was impressed with the entire location..cabin was clean and well maintained, as was entire ouside property.... The cabin had a great feel, and the outside gave great privacy due to the tall oaks, pines, and aspens I'd recommend this cabin, and would absolutely stay there again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained chalet cabin. It's so comfortable and the decor is over the top. Everything you need and more is provided and we highly recommend this property for those who want maximum comfort in a beautiful forest setting. Good restaurants nearby.

Cabin was absolutely awesome. The pictures do not really do it justice. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The only think we had to bring was food and toiletries. The surrounding area was very private, peacefull and the neighborhood is full of very pleasant friendly people. Above all I felt very safe. Just like coming home! You can sit in the great room and see the stars at night. Sit on the patio and hear the whispering pines. Look forward to going back soon!

The cabin was above our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and maintained to the utmost level. We chose to eat our meals in and enjoyed meals on the beautiful deck. The kitchen was completely stocked to prepare full meals. We took our adult children with us and made memories that will last a lifetime. It is a beautiful place (comfortable and cozy) and we hope to stay there again.

Then this is the place to go. My family and I recently rented this cabin over the 4th of July weekend, and it was spectacular. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The location is extremely quiet and private. I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. Overall, great experience, thanks Chuck.

This cabin is one of the nicest and definitely the cleanest I have been to. It has space for up to 6 people. The owner was very quick in getting us the cabin on a short notice. I definitely recommend this cabin. 30 mins to Ski resort. The only downside was that it doesn't have Wifi.

The two attributes that set this vacation rental apart from the many others available in Pinetop are the design of the Ponderosa Lodge and the setting. Each morning, my wife and I walked for appx. 40 minutes, enjoying the cool fresh mountain air and the exercise. We would stop to look at almost every house or cabin and comment on the appearance and design. None came even close to matching the architectural beauty of the Ponderosa Lodge. And while many neighboring dwellings were also nestled in the pines (many weren't), the placement of the Ponderosa Lodge on the site was absolute pefection. If we looked out almost any of the tall picture windows in the house, it was a forest view. We had the feeling of seclusion and privacy although there were neighbors on both sides. Obviously, a great amount of thought and planning went into the design and construction of the house and it resulted in providing the ultimate vacation experience. Although we occasionally drove into town during our weeklong stay, mainly to buy groceries, we took advantage of the ambience at Ponderosa Lodge and took almost all of our meals on site. We often dined outside on the lovely deck. Before making our reservation, I checked dozens of other Pinetop area vacation rentals online and in my view none came close to matching the charm and appeal of this property.

We rented this home on a last minute get away... Owner was great organizing the rental at last minute. The home was so clean and so was like our home away from home. We recommend this property to anyone. Great deck! All amenties that you could need on a vacation. We enjoyed the home and can't wait to return to the property.

Wonderful home, maintained at the highest level. Clean and well designed. Fully equipped. We rented the home during the winter, and the driveway and walkway were nicely plowed when we arrived. Directions to the cabin were excellent. The 2 bedroom home felt much larger than it was, but the maximum capacity was as stated by the owner. We recommend this property.

It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend this property #87716. We spent a very relaxing, restful and restoring vacation up there this past summer. The photos do not do this place justice - as it is in a beautiful, wooded quiet area - just what you need to completely relax and unwind. The outdoor property is beautiful- well manicured and maintained. The cabin decor is very comfortable and homey - we were really able to relax and feel "at home". Everything was completely clean and in wonderful condition. What a treat to make coffee in the morning and view harmless wildlife exploring the outdoors. We had most of our meals on the large deck - which was also a highlight of our week. Highly recommend this great spot - we look forward to going back!

The listing description does not do this place justice. We had such a wonderful time here. Was quite but close enough to lakes, stores, etc... The property is very well maintained with flowers and a huge deck to relax and getaway. Not to mention there is also a huge Jacuzzi! I would recommend this cabin to anyone. Very nice owners and a great place to stay for any occasion.

The views around the cabin to the fun the owner told us we would have, set the tone for our getaway! We made the booking talking to person who knew the area and found out what we were looking for on our trip. The cabin was 5 star accomodations,the area offered amenities the owner told us we would enjoy. We will be back.
