We couldn't have been happier with this condo! Everything about it was exactly what we were looking for. Close to the marina, private, and beautiful! We took a short water taxi ride to Medano Beach when we wanted to be around other people, and when we didn't we stayed at the beach here. No swimming, but watching the waves was worth it! We even sat in the jacuzzi and watched the whales from our own patio!! The owner was so great to deal with, and there were zero problems during our stay. I hope we can come back again! I would recommend this condo to anyone, it is perfect!!

This condo was all that the description promised and more; so it is with mixed feelings I write this review. On the one hand I feel the need to honestly convey my appreciation to the owners for allowing us to use their wonderful place, in a wonderful place, and on the other hand, I would like to keep this little piece of paradise a secret so it will be available when we chose to go back (and we will!). The prpperty is one of the original condos on the private Solmar beach on the Pacific at the the tip of the Baja penninsula. Many of the individual condos have been updated with new kitchens and baths and better air-conditioning, but we found that many were not, leading to unhappy commenters on various web-sites. I do not know about this unit but, regardless, the place was very comfortable, nicely appointed, well maintained, and with a kitchen fully operable with all that one would expect in a kitchen. The listing and the pictures were accurate but did not do justice to the charming local art work, furniture, and decorations in the condo. The owners appear to use this place as a home away from home and not just a distant rental property. The place was spotless when we arrived and was stocked with the basic needs, plus plenty of beach towels, pool floats, information and recommendations about Cabo and San Jose, etc. The owners were extremely helpful, including when the WiF in the unit would not work, immediately tasking the Terrasol manager to get a crew in to fix/replace it. Which they did. In general, this location is not for those looking for a very active/lots of stuff going on/social activities/party vacation.... it is however a great place to get away to, and sit on the beach/by the pool/on the condo patio and relax. The condo is within easy walking distance (less than a mile) of plenty excellent restaurants (from fancy to barefoot), water activities, and shopping. I would recommend this property gladly and have done so already.

Winter vacation 2011 at Terrasol

We just returned from our best vacation ever. This Cabo resort is quite unique. These condos are low profile and were designed to fit into the natural beauty of Cabo. Instead of the high density hotels with there many and sometimes annoying entertainment, one gets a feeling of peace, harmony, and total relaxation. I have a very demanding job and staying at Terrasol allowed me to totally relax. This particular condo was very well furnished, well maintained and had every thing we needed. The beds were absolutely wonderful. My wife has torn disks in her back and she slept well and we both woke well rested. The view of the ocean is great and you can walk from the patio right onto the sand. The Solmar beach is still one of the best in Cabo. We saw many whales while we were there and the waves at times were very impressive. This is NOT a swimming beach but it is an awesome beach. Do your swimming in the pools or take a short water taxi ride to Medano beach. Terrasol is located close to town making it an easy walk to the marina and shopping. The full kitchen is helpful if you like to cook your own food and save money. There are also many good restaurants. We enjoy the food at Solmar especially the Motajete, seafood served in a hot stone bowl. The Terrasol has a small pallapa bar and restaurant that serves a great hamburger at a good price. Maros shrimp house is fun, and it's hard to beat Mama's Cafe Royal for breakfast. If nightlife is your thing Cabo Wabo for live music is my personal choice, though many folks enjoy El Squid Roe and the Giggling Marlin. Fishing was poor while we were there but should improve when the water warms. The owner was very helpful and we used paypal for our payment, which was simple and easy. If you choose to rent this place please take good care of it as we intend to come back and enjoy this place again.

Recommended for:Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We have just returned from Terrasol.We spent a month in Ryan's Beach House.We loved it!Would return in a heartbeat!Great house,had everything that we needed,comfy beds,all appliances worked,great location,so peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to all the action of Cabo San Lucas. The staff of Terrasol were really friendly and it is a very safe gated community.We would definitely return. Thanks Ryan.

Wonderful home....great location...easy access to marina and downtown Cabo San Lucas....beautiful setting looking at the Pacific Ocean and the dancing whales...staff on site couldn't have been nicer...fishing trip arranged....etc ...etc... would return in a heartbeat....

We want to let you know how much we LOVED staying in your home. It was one of the most relaxing, restful and fun vacations we have ever had, and we all agreed we would return in a heartbeat! Your place was perfect and we had almost the entire complex to ourselves (even lover's beach!) It took just one time share session (so we could get a free car rental, two rounds of golf and a four person sun set cruise, of course) to remind us of how truly busy and bothersome staying in a large resort can be. Your's was the perfect contrast - the people were lovely, the food was delicious and the weather was superb. We highly recommend this villa to others as it had all the comforts of home as well as the perks of being on vacation. Thank you again for sharing your home with us - we felt very fortunate to be there.

Christmas in Cabo 2008! We stayed in this beautiful fully furnished 2 bedroom 2 bath Terrasol first floor condo facing the ocean. Gorgeous sunsets, private beach, warm weather. Very close to town, yet far from the crowds. Everything here is within walking distance. Make sure you climb the rocks to lovers beach. Hope to vacation here again.

We stayed at the Terrasol Beach House in late March of 2007 and I thought I posted a message way back then, couldn't find it so here is our comment: Terrasol is the most beautiful Beach House rental you’ll find in Mexico. A private, fabulous beach, beautiful white sand and the rental house is spectacularThe unit was in great condition; everything you would need was right there and everyone was comfortable and relaxed. The condo had two complete bathrooms with a washer and dryer. The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Mario.We had breakfast on the patio in the mornings, while we watched the birds and of course listening to the ocean waves – especially at night in the spa, what a treat! We loved lounging around the pool and the bar for lunch and walking the beach in the afternoons. It was very hard to leave Terrasol and we recommend it to everyone! We saw a huge cruise ship one night, what a sight. We hated going home. Wishing we lived there. If you like the party life – you MUST go to the Giggling Marlin AND El Squid Row!!!! There are lots of great restaurants to eat and great shopping. Truly just a fabulous vacation was had by all. April-May 2008 Terrasol is a very quiet & peaceful place to vacation. The beach condo was fabulous, ocean view, close to the pool, great food at the little Palapa restaurant ( that is when you were too relaxed to cook your own food ). There were even chilled Coronas when we arrived, probably left over from the previous guests, so we did the same and left some for the next vacationers, I'm sure they appreciated a cold one after a long day of travelling. Nothing bad to say about this place. WE'LL BE BACK !!

Jan/Feb 08 We thoroughly enjoyed your Condo and Cabo. The whales were amazing this year - we could actually hear them logging just off shore during the night. Mario and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The little palapa restaurant served up some yummy fare. The weather was perfect. But then it always is. Your condo was terrific with all the comforts of home and then some. We would love to return and will certainly recommend you and your vacation getaway!

This was a great option for two couples looking to get away. There wasn't an amenity we needed that wasn't already provided for us in this condo. The gated community with security and reserved parking was a necessity, made us very mobile as we could come and go as we pleased. The view couldn't be beaten and the community was very low-key and friendly.

We had such a wonderful time at your Terrasol condominium over Christmas vacation (2006).We escaped the freezing weather in Alaska and met both our daughters and our son-in-law for a very relaxing 8 days in the sun. The unit was great; everything was in good working order and comfortable. We loved having two complete bathrooms and a washer and dryer right there. And the staff was so helpful and friendly, especially Mario at the palapa bar -- what a professional! We had breakfast on the patio every morning, watching the birds and listening to the ocean waves. We loved lounging around the pool and the palapa bar for lunch and walking the beach in the afternoons. It was a totally stressfree time and very hard to leave. We flew home in one day, going from 82 to 3 degrees! Brrrr! Hope we can do it again sometime -- it was paradise! Thanks so much for being so easy to work with and for making your terrific home available to us!
