Situated on a ridge 100 ft above the Pacific Ocean, this 18,000 sq ft family compound provides a tropical ambiance unequaled in Central America. The compound draped by jungle-covered mountains affords unsurpassed vistas across the Pacific to the Osa Peninsula. Watch groups of pelicans darting above the crashing waves of Playa Dominical, marine life from humpback whales and dolphins. Concrete walls and gated entrance provide unsurpassed security and privacy.
The surrounding jungle is passable only to white-faced monkeys, sloths, and toucans. The compound consists of five separate buildings: the principal living area with 25 foot ceilings houses the kitchen, indoor dining and living rooms. A large terrace covered by a palm-thatched palapa adjoins this building and offers open-air dining and living areas. A two-story structure with wide covered terraces contains five bedrooms and bathrooms, all with ocean views. The master bedroom is adjoined through a walled garden with two additional bedrooms.

Our extended family had the most incredible trip of our lifetimes to Costa Rica. We found this house on-line and while the pictures are accurate, staying in this estate was incredible to say the least. The construction of the home, the amenities and the spectacular views are unbelievable. The staff catered to our every needs. We had three wonderful meals per day - we particularly loved the Costa Rica country cuisine and the fresh mahi-mahi, tuna and marlin. Johnny arranged all of our activities and could not have been a more gracious host. We cannot wait to return.

After our week stay in the Dominical Compound last summer, both my family and I were absolutely thrilled in every aspect. First, the house itself- the pictures do not lie. We lived lavishly in these tropical style villas and were treated like royalty by the staff members. The kitchen was clean, well kept, and very organized. The zero edge pool in the backyard is breath-taking while it overlooks the costa rican jungle and the vast pacific ocean. I have never seen a view this magnificent in all my years, you truly must see it firsthand to believe it. We found the architecture of the home so unique and fitting to the area that we were in. Also, the owner has done a fantastic job with the interior decorating of the compound (i.e. artwork, furniture.) The location of the compound could not be more ideal, which is 2 minutes at the most from the town and epic surf spots. The town of Dominical features a wide variety of excellent restaurants, great shops, and endless options for tourist activities such as zip lining through the jungle! Ted, the owner of the compound was incredibly accommodating throughout the trip and made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. We would recommend staying here to ALL of our family and friends.
