Our carriage house is Toll Brothers' latest addition to the Delaware resort areas. Our carriage house, was designed and built by the nation's premier builder, of luxury homes and was completed in November, 2005.
Highlights of the design include a two-story foyer, enhanced by an elegant staircase and flanked by formal living and dining rooms, well-appointed kitchen with sunny breakfast room, and a first-floor master suite, boasting a cathedral ceiling, lavish bath with Jacuzzi tub, and walk-in closet.
Upstairs features two secondary bedrooms, and a spacious loft with dramatic balcony overlook. A gas fireplace and plasma TV, add charm to the living room. Thirty five foot deep garage on the ground floor level, provides premium parking for two cars or a place for golf bags, bikes, and beach gear. Overflow parking for two additional cars is also available next to the unit.
Known as Delaware’s "Quiet Resorts," Bethany Beach affords both convenient amenities and small town charm. Located in a quiet beach community, where you can walk along quiet bay waters or watch sunsets over the Indian River Bay. Bethany Beach is a three minute drive away from the home and a free shuttle runs every thirty minutes from the carriage house, during the weekends, holidays, and summer months.
If you prefer more solitude, drive three to seven miles to three adjacent Delaware State Park beaches. The Delaware Park beaches are very large and deep, and contains facilities such as rest rooms, showers, vending machines, picnic tables and shady spots to sit.
Renting this property includes optional access to a Club House (a mere five minute walk away), overlooking the Indian River Bay, that features both large indoor and large outdoor pools, hot tub and whirlpool, two tennis courts, fitness center, his and hers saunas, billiard room, lounge, library, and a meeting room with adjoining gourmet kitchen. The fishing pier, with ten boat slips, connects to trails for walking and overlooking the scenic Indian River Bay.
Bethany Beach is normally less than a three hour drive from Baltimore, Philadelphia, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC. If you enjoy shopping, the Rehoboth Outlets are less than a twenty minute drive away, featuring Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Donna Karan and Nike, as well as over one hundred and forty factory outlet stores.
For the golf enthusiast, our carriage house is located within fifteen minutes of several semi-private and public golf courses, including Bear Trap Dunes, Cripple Creek, Lighthouse, and Salt Pond. If you are a tennis enthusiast, join friends at the two tennis courts on the communities’ property or play at one of the numerous tennis clubs in the area.
Excellent medical facilities are very near the property. The Beebe Medical Center is located less than a five minute drive away. Come enjoy a private resort, where vacation dreams become a reality.

My wife and I and our two daughters and their families (9 total) thorughly enjoyed our week in this spacious well decorated and equipped 3 bedroom house complete with all expected amenties and then some. It had TVs in each bedroom, DVD player and DVDs, a spa in the main bathroom, XBOX in the unstairs sitting room, and other amenities to help make our stay very comfortable. The nearby community facility included a swimming pool (inside and out), game room, reading room, outside gym set for the kids, etc. Nearby interests included Bethany Beach, Rehobeth Beach, Ocean City Maryland, golf courses, amusement parks, outlet malls, etc. In addition, the owners were very friendly and made themselves available by phone during our stay. We so liked our stay we have booked a return visit in 2012.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+.
