    One of the best beach settings that I have ever seen......one step away!!! The furniture was brand new and the electronics was the top of the line. You can check your email from the 55" tv. Nobody had to argue over the recliners, because there are three!!!! You can watch Netflix through the smart tv. High Def, 3D, smart TV! Yeah! The owners were very accommodating, we had to move our stay and they made sure that we were taking care of. My hats off to Gil and Deb!

    It is amazing to walk down to the beach from the condo. The condo is beautiful & I would not stay anywhere else. The owners are great and very accomodating! We will be back

    Thank you for letting stay in your beautiful beach house. My family enjoyed the stay, the weather & the beach!!!! I can't believe that it is only 2 steps away from the sea.The weather was beautiful, the house has everything that we needed. It was enough for my family, the porch is so nice. Too bad we have to leave, we are moving to the one on top because this one is not vacant for two straight weeks. We will make sure we get it again next summer for 2 weeks. Thanks again

    Amazing view....closest we have ever been to the ocean!! Our kids loved walking straight to the sand and the dog loved sitting on the deck! Great to hear these waves in bed too. Nice to park near the door and not deal with an elevator. We got fresh fish at Destin Ice seafood and ate on the deck. Fun to hit a few golf balls. We had a great week...... Thanks for having us!!! Go UGA!

    thank you Gil and Debbie for such an amazing experience! Debbie was so right, your toes go right to the sand! They have the lastest and greatest furniture and big screen tv. defenitely five star accommodations! Where else can you stay on the beach with your other child( dog)

    Most wonderful condo and access to the beach! We absolutely loved every minute of it, and plan on returning soon for our next visit. The condo is perfect for a get-a-way, especially when you are with the one you love:) The owners are FABOLOUS, and thank you for renting it to us on such short notice, we do not want to stay ANYWHERE else! and the decorating in the condo is perfect. You cannot beat the comfort, view and OUTSIDE speakers. Thank you soooo very much. I will recommend this place to anyone. Much Love Molly and Damien

    We signed up for a two week stay but left after one week. The listings photos really did not reflect the condition/appearance of the property. The furnishings were outdated and several things did not work upon our arrival....internet access and dryer. The owner happened to be in town and was quick to stop by and have the items fixed. The beach access and view are great and were positives. I would not recommend this property to a friend or relative. It just fell way below our expectations.

    Owner response: The guest left after 10 days due to the fact her back was hurting & she needed to return home for personal MD. She attended the local clinic to make the ride home. They tried to get a refund due to her illness. Consequently, when we told them we would put the condo back on the market , they didn't want to leave.The photos were recently taken and are exactly what the condo looks like. The furnishings are modern and have NEVER had a complaint of being dated. The internet was down for ONE day due to a phone co.issue. There was no complaint with the dryer, it works perfect. They called while we were in town and were there in 30mins to address issues. They claimed they were used to a 5 star property, we have never claimed to be a 5 star property. You will pay 3-4 times more a night for a 5 star property. If the property is so bad, why did they choose to stay 10 out of 14 days. Evidently, it was due to a medical issue....not a condo issue. We strive to please our guest and keep our place beautiful.

    Debbie and Gil, WOW !!!! What a week, we cannot thank you enough for allowing us to stay in your condo, it was amazing. As a first timer to Destin, the location was outstanding. Centrally located to local convenience stores, shopping, golf, and the restaurants were great. The Condo itself was set-up perfectly; all the amenities were available, and as the web site states “right” on the beach, we loved being able to hear the sound of the ocean all night. The condo was perfect; the views from the condo were outstanding. It was nice sitting on the deck every morning enjoying the dolphins swim by. Also for those interested we vacationed in September FY2011, what a perfect time, the weather is still outstanding, and no snowbirds, or college students, the beach was practically ours everyday. See you next year, Again Thank you so much

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

    Couldn't think of a better place to spend our 29th anniversary. You have a beautiful place. Loved the fact the we coud walk right out onto the beach. "No Elevators" to wait on. Of course, we really appreciate that you are dog lovers. Our bella came along with us, we loved that too. I will pass the word to all my " coonass" friends about this place.     The view was great and so was the fact that we can walk from the back porch straight onto the beach-----awesome! We really enjoyed our week stay here, hope we can do it again sometime. One more thing that we enjoyed doing was searching for sand dollars out in the water, it was cool. We enjoyed your condo.....We loved seeing the dolphins swim by during the day. Thanks so much, we loved everything

    We have visited Destin for 24 years and previously stayed at Surf and Racquet down the street (nice place). Now we have a small dog and this condo was PERFECT!!! Pet friendly, Right on the beach, Great Veiw and the condo was very comfortable/spacious for our family of 4. We had a fantastic time and look forward to stay here again in the future. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway.

    Our stay at Sandpiper Cove was great!! The condo was directly on the beach and we could sit on our balcony and listen to the waves. It was so relaxing for us. We relaxed in the condo, walked on the beach, and dined in some great restraurants. There is also a washer and dryer in the unit!!!! We took our dog and he enjoyed looking out the windows at the beach goers!! Deb has a scrapbook in the condo that was very helpful. Louisiana Lapinappe is on the property and is a great restraurant with great food and a great view of the water and boats. We only wish that we had more time off work to do all the fun things that there are to do in Destin. Deb's scrapbook answers all of your questions about where to go and how to get there. The condo was very clean and the surrounding beach area is kept clean. We hope to make this an annual vacation and stay at the same condo. You will definitely enjoy your stay and will want to stay longer! Thank you for a great beach vacation !!

    Dear Gil and Debbie Thank you for letting us vacation in your wonderful condo!We loved it. This was our boy's first trip to the beach. It was so nice to be able to just walk down there without having to carry "everything"! We spent every night sitting on the porch watching the moon rise and enjoying the sounds of the ocean. Also, loved the crab hunting at night. My boys caught all sorts of marine life even a starfish!! We are already planning our next visit and deciding how many more units to rent for our family. You definately have the best spot on the beach!!!! Thanks again.

    Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We met 4 other couples here. One partner from each couple had worked together several years ago. My husband and one other gentleman had worked together for about 30 yrs, but hadn't seen each other for 12yrs. We all had a wonderful time. Enjoyed A.J's, Lucky Snapper & Dewey Dejein's. But, the best part of our trip was just kicking back on your deck and enjoying the incredible view! I got to see dolphins pass by everyday. We hope to come back next year and do it again.

    WOW!!! What a wonderful week we have had. this was the best place!!! Your condo was Awesome! RIGHT on the beach (Why stay any where else?) You and Debbie made booking easy and smooth.     Gil and Debie, We appreciate being right on the ocean. The temperatures were perfect for opening the doors and letting the cool ocean breeze flow through the condo. The sun was shining in every morning. We enjoyed walks on the beach, tennis on the facility, and great restaurants in the area. Cooking was not one of our activities, but the kitchen was well equipped for a longer stay. May hurricanes avoid the area and the water retain it's unique color. thanks so much

    We really enjoyed our stay here. The weather was near perfect! The sunrise each morning was spectacular and the sunset was awesome. The deck was great, From there we watched dolphins play, fish flip up out of the water....a shark mosied by on Monday morning and actually beached itself on Tues. It scared the beegeebies out of some of the little kids and their mommas, but it went back where it came from pretty quick! On Thurs, our last full day here, we got to see the stingrays. We are celebrating our 30 yr. anniversary on the 7th and this place made our celebration very special. We appreciate you sharing this with us! We have loved every minute of it!!!

    We really had a fun and relaxing time. The oceanfront view was awesome! Had a really bad storm and got mostly rain, but even the storm looked beautiful from the beach. The waves got huge and were awesome. Despite the bad weather, we made some really great friends. We went to dinner every night and enjoyed lots of different food. Harbor Docks is a great restaurant for Hibachi and Sushi. We will definetly be back. Thanks Gil and Debbie

    We have had a great time this week. Love the balcony and short hop to the beach. From upstairs we can see the whole beach. I actually loved the ice maker. The condo is beautiful and comfortable. We had all that we needed right here. Thanks for the great room, the great view, and for all the extras that make this place special. We look forward to returning.

    We were a little skeptical at first about booking a condo online, but as soon as we walked into the door, we knew it was absolutely perfect. Watching the dolphins at sunrise while drinking coffee on the deck was a perfect start to each day, we couldn't have been happier with the condo or Destin, plus we had a wonderful honeymoon.

    We stayed in this property in July 2010. The property is in need of upgrading as the decor is outdated. The couch and floor were very dirty. The owners are difficult to deal with. The sliding glass door to the beach would not lock, so we had no way to lock the place up. Also, the gate to the balcony had fallen off completely, so we had not way of securing our toddler in door or on the deck. When we reported the sliding glass doors and the gate the owner said they would fix them after our stay a week later. I would rather rent through a rental agency or somone that will take care of issues during stay.

    Owner response: We appologize for the review of a discruntal renter. What she considered the gate falling off, was one slat ....she wanted us to travel from New Orleans immediatly and fix it. She wanted her toddler to be left unattended on the deck and that is why she was mad. She stayed there for 5 out of her 7 days before she complained. We traveled to Destin immediately to attend to the problems that she addressed after her stay. When we arrived, we checked the sliding doors and they worked fine, she could not figure out how to work a simple latch. In reference to the dirty sofa, The sofa is leather and cleaned by the maid after every guest's stay. The carpets are vacuumed and cleaned after every guest. The carpets are steam cleaned twice a season. There is no way our place was in this kind of condition at all. However, the few things that could be fixed, were fixed immediately. Our goal is to provide our guest with the best possible vacation on the beach. We would appreciate if you would look at the pics of the beautiful condo and book with us. We enjoy approximately 30 satisfied guest per season, unfortunately, nothing could please this individual.

    Deb and Gil We had a great time celebrating our 20th anniversary! We LOVED walking right out on the beach! I also made friends with the seagulls and pigeons on the beach.
