This fully equipped, freshly renovated and updated condo is a great place to escape the blustery winter!
Our second-floor condo is a two-bedroom, two-bath unit (sleeps up to 6 comfortably) with a jetted tub, fully equipped kitchen, large living area, a wrap-around balcony, central air conditioning, cable TV, three TVs, DVD player and washer and dryer.
The complex is on the mainland directly across the street from the intra-coastal waterway and just over a mile from the historic Sunset Beach swing bridge. The Colony II at Oyster Bay has amenities such as an indoor heated pool and hot tub, an outdoor pool and an exercise room. Our building is a three story building and our condo is an end unit on the second floor.
The main living area has a couch and love seat, coffee table, two end tables with lamps, 27" flat-screen cable TV with a DVD player and a ceiling fan. From this room, there are two sets of sliding doors onto a wrap-around balcony that is great for morning coffee, evening cocktails or simply relaxing and reading a good book.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all cookware, silverware, dishes, glasses and coffee mugs you will need to function without skipping a beat during your stay. There is a full size fridge, electric stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and blender. The kitchen opens to the living room across a half-wall bar with two stools (great for the kid's dinners).
The large bedroom is essentially set up as its own unit with two double beds, its own private bathroom with a jetted tub for two, a kitchenette (small counter, sink, mini fridge, mini microwave, coffee maker and several storage cabinets), closet and wall-mounted cable television. This room also has a separate private entry from outside.
The second bedroom has two double beds, wall-mounted cable television and a private entrance to the main bathroom.
The main bathroom is larger with a full tub/shower. It has one door to the second bedroom and one door to the main unit.
The unit is truly our home away from home and feels that way. You will find board games for both kids and adults, playing cards, books and special touches that make it "ours". There is also a "Pack-n-Play" and booster chair in the closet for those with small children. We have recently updated the unit with new carpet, couches, new bed linens and covers and fresh paint throughout.
Your rental fee includes one set of clean bed linens. We ask that you bring your own bath linens. Typical rentals are typically weekly (full seven nights) from Saturday to Saturday. Check-in time is after 5 p.m. and check out is prior to 11 a.m.
