Parrot Hale, located on one private acre, is a brand new home. It features three levels all accessed by an indoor central stairwell. The bottom entry level consists of the living room, kitchen, dining area and a half bath.

The living room is equipped with satellite TV, VCR, DVD. The high-quality double futon couch and single chair are convertible sleeping areas. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs.

The Master Bedroom is located on the second floor and is equipped with a high-quality king-size bed, satellite TV, and a full private bath.

On the third floor, the second bedroom has two high quality queen-size Beds and private bath as well.

Both bedrooms have private entry lanais connected by an outdoor staircase. On the ground level is a two-car garage and laundry facilities. The house is supplied by private well water.

On the beautiful eastside of the Big Island, Parrot Hale is located near the coastline in the Puna Subdivision of Hawaiian Paradise Park. It is centralized from most Puna attractions approximately 15-30 Minutes away from a day of fun. Go for a hike in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Take a dip in geo-thermal warmed saltwater "Hot Ponds". Frolic in the ocean at beautiful Hilo beaches and visit the open air market for Island fruit, flowers and crafts.

Dine in Pahoa Town, reminiscent of yesteryear. Enjoy the Aloha at the world renowned Merrie Monarch Hula Festival. Surf, snorkel, Fish and sail. See the view from the highest mountain in the world at the Mauna Kea Observatory. There is so much to do you are going to need a good night’s sleep!

  • Parrot Hale was the perfect place to enjoy our vacation. Very quiet and well kept. It was wonderful to fall asleep to the coqui frogs in the distance and wake up to the cooing sounds of the morning doves and other birds. Great place to kick back, relax and enjoy our morning coffee on the lanai off the master bedroom. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home in paradise. Mahalo a nui loa, Wes & Judy Peters

  • We stayed at Parrot Hale for four nights over Thanksgiving of this year (2006). It was a touch tricky to find the address, as it is posted on a tree and not lit, but we were able to find the property with only one wrong turn. The directions that were sent to me were very helpful. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the rental was exactly as it is advertised to be -- pictures are very accurate! It was clean and comfortable. The only problem which we experienced was that two of the days that we were there, the hot water did not work. We called the number on the fridge and the problem was fixed promptly both times. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at this property again if in Hilo.
