Relax and enjoy the Mammoth seasons and views from our serene getaway. Furnished in a soothing color palate, this cozy retreat is the perfect place to escape everyday responsibilities and take in the beauty of nature.
Our Mammoth Mountain condominium is located at Discovery Four (click on Discovery Four Lodging link below for more photos), centrally located between Canyon and Eagle Lodges and only a minute’s drive to "The Village". For winter activities, it is only a minute drive or short walk behind the development to Canyon Lodge ski lifts (Chairs 8, 16, 17 and 7). It is also only five minutes to Eagle Express. The Tamarack Lodge for cross-country skiing is just up the road.
For summer activities, this location is ideal for access to the Lakes Basin for the avid fishermen. There are many lakes, streams and rivers stocked by the Department of Fish and Game and include the world famous Alpers Trophy Rainbow Trout.
Within minutes, the magnificent Ansel Adams and John Muir Wilderness Areas are accessible for hikes and picnics. There are numerous mountain biking trails for the novice, to challenging trails for the pro biker. Scenic Sierra Star and Snowcreek Golf courses are a short drive away.
The one bedroom, one bath condominium is close enough to a variety of restaurants, shopping, and the Village action; but yet away from the congestion and noise for a more intimate and peaceful retreat.
The living room faces the desirable southern exposure with a view of the Sherwin Mountains. Relax in this sun-filled living room during the day if you are not out enjoying the surrounding landscape, or lounge around in the evening with a toasty fire from the river rock fireplace; firewood provided. Hi-speed Wireless Internet hook-up and HBO are also provided.
There is a separate dining area that comfortably seats four. This dining area also faces south with a small deck off the side and has a small Weber charcoal BBQ.
The kitchen is well equipped with all your necessary cookware, utensils and dinnerware for your gourmet dinners in.

The bathroom has a tub/shower enclosure. Spa linens are provided, including pool towels.
The bedroom is furnished in tranquil colors and linens for a restful sleep in the mountains. The queen-size bed is fitted with 450 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets over a featherbed-topped mattress. The queen duvet is filled with a goose down comforter to keep the warmth in the winter and yet cool enough for the summer.
Upon entry, there is an alcove with two feather pillow-topped twin bunk beds with goose down comforters for children or overnight guests.
Just outside the front door is a storage locker for your sporting equipment. There is ample parking in front of the condominium.
There is a shuttle stop (Orange Line) in front of this complex that stops at The Village and at the Tamarack Lodge cross-country ski area. You can walk, drive or be dropped off at Canyon Lodge, which is located 1500 feet up the road behind the complex. The Village and Eagle Express is just a one to five-minute drive.
Discovery Four has a large covered Jacuzzi spa and dry sauna year round. A swimming pool, tennis courts, horseshoes and barbecue areas are open during the warm months. There is a recreational room with pool table and DVD/Video rental available. Coin-operated laundry facilities are also available off the recreational room; all amenities are only a few steps away from the condominium.
