Located on a quiet street on the North side of Dewey Beach, this beach house was renovated in 2005, adding space and amenities without compromising it's classic cottage feel. Just two and a half blocks to the beach and three blocks to Rehoboth Bay, this house, with its relaxing hot tub and screened porch, is the perfect place to spend your vacation.
On the first floor, enjoy an airy living room with comfortable couches and chairs facing the new TV, DVD player, and stereo/CD player. The new gas corner fireplace provides warmth and coziness for chilly off-season visits. The dining room offers seating for 8 at a large table and the kitchen has been completely remodeled. These open to the large screen porch and back yard. French doors, skylights and large window allow plenty of light and air.
The 16x24 foot screened porch, perfect for relaxing or entertaining large groups of people, with its ample white wicker seating area and oversized picnic table. Right outside the screen porch is a large hot tub which comfortably seats six to eight adults, along with a deck with chairs and a BBQ grill.
The kitchen has been fully renovated with all new appliances inlcuding a 25 cubic-foot, side-by-side refrigerator with ice maker and water and ice dispenser. Granite countertops and new white-washed cabinets provide plenty of storage and make this a lovely place to prepare meals.
The first floor also includes a full bath and a bedroom with a queen bed and sliding door opening to a covered, deck in the front of the house. The porch is a great place to relax, smell the sea air, and watch people go by.
The second floor provides a large master suite with a king bed, TV with VCR, comfortable sitting area, cathedral ceilings, and a private master bath. The master bath contains a stall shower and large Corian double sink. Two other large bedrooms are also on the second level. The "Brady Bunch Room" contains three double beds, while the other bedroom has a queen bed. These two bedrooms have their own full bath, with a tub/shower unit and a Corian double sink. The laundry room is also located upstairs offering brand new, extra large capacity washer and dryer.
The greatest part about the house is its location, offering quiet and convenience. The neighborhood is generally quiet and hospitable with many families and year-round residents and a lot less of the "craziness" of downtown Dewey. Yet, it is within blocks of all the wonderful Dewey Beach attractions and restaurants. You can also enjoy a nice fifteen minute walk to downtown Rehoboth Beach or catch the Jolley Trolley to the boardwalk. This house has it all, including off-street parking for up to 5 cars.

- This home is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood. It is not the "anything goes" atmosphere of in-town Dewey. Boisterous, late-night partying groups may want to consider another location (not that there's anything wrong with that :-)
