This comfortable, immaculate ocean-view house sits nestled in the middle of a spectacular garden in one of the loveliest areas of the scenic Comox Valley. It features hardwood floors in the living and dining rooms (open concept), two large bedrooms, a four-piece bathroom, large windows from which to admire the view, a lovely, working kitchen and French doors leading onto a huge deck. The main floor contains a family room, laundry facilities, a three-piece bathroom and another bedroom. Both floors have ocean views and access to the yard.
The house is located on a corner lot adjacent to a park with peaceful and well-maintained walking trails. Beach access is found across the quiet road. Both the north and south ends of the road are used primarily by the residents of this enclave so it is perfect for biking, blading or just walking. The property has a number of fruit trees--help yourself! The yard is large and well-maintained, with a goldfish 'pond', backyard porch, many lovely spots from which to admire the view, enjoy the peace and beauty of your surroundings, read a book or dream plus plenty of space left over to host a croquet tournament, throw the ball around, or put up the volleyball or badminton net. This is truly a magical place!
The house is within 20 minutes of Courtenay/Comox. Restaurants, the Sid Williams Theatre which features fantastic performers and wonderful stage productions to suit any taste, boating, fishing, kayaking, beach combing, shopping, swimming, hiking ... a recreation and outdoor paradise is at your door. The area hosts the annual Filberg Festival and is home to an eclectic and talented variety of artists and their workshops. Summer festivals abound for both young and old, the world-class spa facilities at the renowned Kingfisher spa and Resort are a mere five-minute drive from the house, championship golfing is offered at the Crowne Isle Resort and Mt. Washington hosts annual international skiing and mountain biking contests. There is something for everyone!
It is fully furnished, with sleeping capacity for eight. TV, DVD player, VCR, convection oven and gas barbecue are included. Bedding and towels are supplied. Beach shoes are recommended for beach combing. Pets will be accepted on approval. No smoking indoors please.
