Bear Brook House is a brand-new solution for larger groups or family and friends looking to vacation together yet maintain their privacy - all under one roof! This stand-alone property is capable of sleeping over 28 people comfortably by being cleverly divided into four floors and five larger suites that can be used in many configurations.
The house is ideal for families wishing to be together, clubs, reunions and corporate use. Less than two miles to Attitash Ski Mountain and summer camp, minutes to Storyland and centrally located for all of the adventures of the White Mountains.
Please be aware that NH State Law requires that ALL rental properties offering accomodation for over 16 persons shall comply with Commercial Firecode Regulations. Recently constructed, BBH is fully rated as a commercial lodging establishment, the property maintains the comfort and convenience of renting a large home while satisfying lodging fire code requirements.
No expense has been spared in providing our guests with comfort and convenience including cable TV, wireless internet, DVD players and VCRs in all suites, central air, individual phone lines, one full kitchen and two kitchenettes, five full bathrooms, four of which have two-person jacuzzi tubs.
Bear Brook House takes its name from a small bear family that every spring leads their cubs down along the brook that runs at the bottom of the property and through a culvert under the road to arrive at the Saco River! Inspired by the family concept, finally a house has been built that would house any number of bears very comfortably!! The newly-constructed and furnished house has been designed and built with the idea of families being able to gather together in their own privacy!!

This trip was the second time our church has stayed at the Bear Brook House. We rent the entire house, and ski at Attitash and Bretton Woods. It has always been clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The property is perfect for a large group. The owners are pleasant, very accommodating, and responsive to all questions or concerns. We plan to go back every year!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
The staff and owners were wonderful!

I hosted a large family reunion in June of 2010 and some of us stayed in The Bear Brook House. What can I say, we are a large, loud and somewhat demanding group. Mark and Beverly (the owners) and their staff treated us with hospitality and kindness. They were helpful and always went the extra mile. The house was beautiful and quite big with plenty of bathrooms. Twenty-two of us were in The Bear Brook House and we had lots of room. The upstairs loft was perfect for the teenages/young adults. We loved cooking every night in the kitchen or barbecuing on the deck. The outside area had a fire pit which we used every night. Across the street is The Will's Inn also owned by Mark and Beverly. It is beautifully landscaped and we, of course, had use of the pool. I would recommend The Bear Brook House and The Will's Inn to family and friends. Thanks, Mark, Beverly and staff for helping me make my family reunion a success!
