We celebrated our 38th Valentine anniversary in Dave and Pam's beautiful condo. This was our 3rd stay here and the update is beautiful. As always the owners were very helpful in choosing awesome activities including the Vanilla farm, horseback in Waipio valley,and a great snorkel trip to Captain Cook on Fairwinds. We found the beach chairs and used them at our favorite beaches Kahaluu (snorkeling) and Mana Kea Boogie boarding,boards also provided! Daily walks to our favorite coffee spot, Lava Java ,farmers market visits, BBQing up by the pool,and nightly sunsets at the end of the parking lot are not to be missed. You meet new people and sometimes run into people from your same neighborhood on the mainland. This has happened to us 3 times! Overall beauty of the grounds and location makes this one of our favorites! I truly believe this is Heaven on earth. Thanks again and Mahalo to you Dave and Pam

We were lucky enough to stay in Dave and Pam's lovely condo for two weeks! The place is clean, very nicely decorated, comfortable and set up with everything youl need to enjoy the beautiful and amazing adventures in Kona. We were so happy to have use of the Honda Element .. we (two couples and we fit just fine) toured a great deal during our stay and maybe saw a fraction of all the sights, parks, restaurants, towns and beaches of this area! This place is quiet and peaceful with the awesome added bonus of watching the whales and dolphins nearly every day we were there! Dave was in touch through email and phone when needed so that was helpful and reassuring as well! So go. Enjoy. Rest. Explore... there is something for everyone here.

What a gorgeous condo this is!! It is every bit as nice as the pictures depict it to be. It was spotlessly clean so we could settle right in and start our vacation in style. So nicely upgraded with the finest materials and furnishings. We stayed for two weeks and did most of our cooking in this well stocked kitchen and loved eating on the lanai with it's stunning views. It was great having the car when we needed to drive otherwise we just walked where we wanted to go, everything is so handy. Beautifully Updated Unit

My husband and I have stayed at Alli Villa a number of times but found this unit to be the nicest of all!!! It has been recently updated with the finest quality of woods, tiles, ETC!!!!! All the interior furnishings from the bed linens to the sofa were nothing but the best! We found the kitchen to be stocked with everything we needed and then more! All the appliances were in good working order. The place was immaculate when we arrived so all we had to do was unpack and relax! Dave was very helpful and even checked in on us via e mail to make sure everything was going well. The location is easy to get to downtown Kona either by driving or walking. We especially enjoyed getting out for walks! We would highly recommend this unit.

We loved the place! The design was greatly put together. When we got there, we appreciated the fact that everything was conveniently close to us, including a deli market up the street with parking, in case you did not want to go the the market shops. The car was very nice and is the perfect beach car... I am thinking of getting one. Dave was great help, staying in touch with me and seeing if I needed anything. The WIFI included was the BEST! I came across this unit on VRBO, what a find ! I was in Kona to compete in Ironman and wanted a location close to the venue. Alii Villas fit the bill perfectly. Tne neighbors in the complex are lovely folks and we felt very welcomed. We met some new friends pool side , the on site caretaker was very helpful. Dave and Pams delux condo has all the ammenities of home, while we didnt drive too much during this trip ,having use of a vehicle was awesome. We made great use if the BBQ and again met great folks while cooking our meals... This is a peaceful place with a great view . Love this place .... Better than home !! Dave communicated regulalry to ensure we were looked after ... Great hosts ! I will be back...

I don't wanna go back to my little grass shack

After two weeks at Dave and Pam's condo, you can keep the grass shack! We'll take the condo! My wife, my daughter and I felt pampered here. The view is one of the best at Alii Villas, which is one of the most beautiful condo developments along the coast. All the furnishings were attractive and well maintained. Colors were restful. The bookshelf and game cupboard were well stocked and the day we arrived there were enough supplies on hand to let us skip an immediate trip to the store. They have thought of everything. Plenty of sheets, pillowcases, towels (you shower a lot here!), cleaning supplies, etc. BEST FEATURE: Ceiling fans on the lanai! What a nice touch. When the sea didn't provide a breeze, the fans did! Great to sit and watch the dolphins working the reef about 100 to 200 feet off shore. They sometimes leap all the way out, and so do their babies. And a car to boot! Wow! Snorkeling at the end of the parking lot is some of the best in Kona, but watch the waves. When the swell is heavy I'd find another place with easier entry and exit. Thank you Dave and Pam Hope we'll share your home again sometime.

This was our first trip to the Big Island and the condo was wonderful. The lanai and the views made evenings and mornings very enjoyable. The use of the car was nice in getting around. It is close to town and shopping etc...which is a plus. We didn't want to leave. It was a last minute trip and working with Dave made everything easy. We look forward to coming back, hopefully soon!!

Relaxing Kona Sunset View Condo

Beautiful 2 Bedroom Condo, Large Lanai with breathtaking ocean, sunset & Kona town views. Short distance for walking to town which was wonderful. Pool, BBQ Area & included Rental Car were a huge Plus! Unit is definitely well stocked with just about anything you could need the first day or two. Well stocked condiments in Refrigerate and Sundries (ie. Butter, Mayo, Mustard, Ketchup, Salad Dressings, Jelly, Peanut Butter, 1st day supply of Coffee, powered creamer, sundries-spf, shampoo/conditioners, soaps, paper goods, etc - give and take relations, so we left other goodies for the next guests!). Beach Chairs, plenty of bathing/beach towels, washer/dryer w/detergents for a day or two. Best Equipped place we have ever seen and we visit and stay different places once or twice per year as our family lives there. Hope to stay here again. Mahalo Nui!

A Lovely Condo

This was our first experience renting a condo from the owner and everything went so smoothly. It was great being able to speak with the owners on the phone and via e-mail. The condo was everything we hoped it would be - clean, quiet, beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was so well equipped - it was a pleasure to cook in it. The view from the lainai was beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing there at the end of each busy day. It was also great being able to use the car. We had wonderful time exploring the island - so much to see and do! We would definitiely recommend this condo to others.

What's Not to Love?

We really enjoyed our stay at Alii Villas. The condo is very clean and very well stocked with all you need. I appreciated the fact that things were new and well taken care of. Some condos have a mish mash of junk that looks like it is from garage sales. Not Dave and Pam's. The condo was very quiet and close to town. It was nice to make our own breakfast and relax on the lanai without worrying about housekeeping knocking on your door every morning like in hotels. The car was suprisingly roomy for all our luggage. It's bad when you go to Hawaii with an empty suitcase for souverniers and still have to run to Ross Dress For Less to get an extra 29 inch suitcase to go home! But it all fit in the car with room to spare. We love Teshima's too. Best fried rice and beef teriyaki we ever had. Fun going to the same restaurant my mom went to as a child. We would definitely stay at this condo again. Mahalo Dave for being super friendly too.

Four of us girls stayed at Daves condo and it was just as it was advertised. We sat on the lanai each morning and watched the ocean and enjoyed every day at our condo. we would definately stay again and it was the best choice that we saw on the whole big island. The car was a great plus for us and it seemed we were in the best center location so that we drove to about the whole island in our 10 days there. Perfect Place for Us

We had so much fun visiting the Big Island. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We loved staying here. The condo is close enough to Kona that you can run or walk into town. We tried several places on Dave's restaurant list and were not disappointed. We enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking to enjoy fresh fruit and Kona coffee on the lanai. The view from the lanai was absolutely beautiful. If I ever come back to the Big Island; I will definitely be looking Dave up again. Dave was in contact with us while we were there. He was very helpful, giving us ideas on where to go and what to see. We used the condo as a girls getaway. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our time there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The attention to detail and the order of the condo was fantastic I am a very organized and clean person at home and really appreciated this aspect. The home is well stocked with all the basics. The neighbors are friendly and the condo grounds are very nicely manicured. Paul the man who takes impeccable care of the property for them was very friendly, he stopped in to check up and see if we needed anything. Dave made sure we were settled in as well. We felt very welcome in this beautiful home and really made it home away from home. The location is really convenient it’s close to all the great dining and shopping a couple minutes and you’re in town. The Honda element was in perfect condition and just multiplied the value of this package! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for nice accommodations at a super great value. We will be back again!!

It is a lovely two-bedroom exactly like the pictures depict it to be. The materials and furnishings are all upgrades and are done in a relaxing first-class style. When we walked in the the condo we found it was spotlessly clean with a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed eating out on the lanaii and the view of the water and all it has to offer including views of whales and dolphins. It has fans and an air-condioner but it is situated in such a manner on the water that you hardly would ever use them. It was great having the Honda Element as part of the package and it made the coming and going from the airport a smooth operation. You can walk to the downtown of Kona easily and to the market for fresh produce. The barbecue area is great along with the pool. We found Dave and Pam are always accessible by e-mail or phone and are great to deal with. We give it our highest recommendation. K&Y Terrace BC

My wife, 11 month daughter and I spent two weeks at Dave's condo in December 2010. We travel extensively and have stayed in dozens of condos around the world. This condo is BY FAR the best equipped and thoughtfully supplied condo we have ever stayed at. The location speaks for itself. And our host was extremely helpful in setting up our stay, answering questions before our stay and during our stay. I'm not sure excellent is a strong enough superlative. Mahalo!

Just returned from Competing in IronMan World Championship in Kona. We could not be more pleased with our stay at Dave and Pam's condo. Alii Villas has beautiful landscaping and is extremly clean. We were able to pick up the Honda Element that was part of the condo package right at airport where it had been left for us. The condo was fully stocked with all the essentials needed to start your vacation . We had wonderful dinners on the deck and looking out on the water watching spinner dolphins and spectacular sunsets. When I get a chance to return to Kona I will definatly be contacting Dave and Pam to book again. This condo is highly recommended.

Aloha David, It has been a couple of weeks since my brother has returned to the mainland. I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your wife for sharing your Kailua Kona condo with us. We had a wonderful 10 days on the big island. Our decision to rent your unit was in no small part a result of your prior guest’s comments and we were not over sold. My brother’s health needs were our key concern and the air conditioner cemented our choice. Your unit, as well as the entire complex is impeccably maintained. The use of your personal vehicle was the icing on the cake. As a person who has traveled to the big island on many occasions, I can say without hesitation it was the best value and one of the nicest places I have stayed. I would highly recommend your unit to anyone looking for an excellent vacation rental at a tremendous value.

We recently returned from a grand ten day stay at Dave and Pam's place on the Kona Coast. We have stayed at many VRBO places in Hawaii and Mexico and this is by far the best of the lot. It is extremely well maintained and clean. The condo was very well stocked with the basics as well as just about everything you need to settle in and start enjoying paradise. Alii Villas grounds are also well maintained and has a very nice pool. You are only a mile walk to the center of action in Kailua so you can avoid some of the Kona traffic. This was an excellent choice.

We spent two very relaxing weeks at this condo from 2 Jan to 16 Jan 2010. We were truly delighted when we arrived in Kona. The car was ready for us at the airport, which was very convenient. The condo is extremely well equipped with everything that you find and need in your own home. It has a fridge full of non perishable condiments for you to use, and replace the things that you use up. Coffee, tea, spices, ketchup, mustard, mayo, pop, sugar, salt, pepper, dish soap, laundry soap etc. ( Absolutely everything ) We arrived late at night and it was nice to be able to make some coffee in the morning without having to run to the store first. We spent the third week in Kauai and the fourth week in Waikai, and this was the best accomodation. ( Kauai and Waikai were good also! ) Dave and Pam were very easy to deal with with "NO" problems of any kind. If we ever go to Hawaii again, we will definately contact Dave and Pam and rent their condo again. Spent Dec 18-28/09 at a true piece of paradise. Where else can you have coffee on the deck and watch the dolphins swim over a backdrop of the Kailua-Kona coastline. Condo was immaculate. Beautifully furnished, exceptionally stocked (even had condiments and detergents). The view of the open tide/sunset just 50'away for a quick leg stretch; easy access to all...Outstanding!

This has to be the cleanest condo we've rented. Everything looked newly painted, caulked, cleaned, scrubbed. The location is perfect... close to town and overlooking the ocean. The sound of the waves breaking on the rocks was music to our ears. Having the use of the owners' car was a huge bonus. It was waiting at the airport when we arrived, and it got us everywhere we needed to go with style. Thanks to the Towrys and also to Paul for making this condo available.

I had an amazing and relaxing stay here for 2 Weeks in Late May-Early June to race the Ironamn Hawaii 70.3 event. Ran out on Alii Drive almost every night, swam in the ocean right off the condo. And looked forward to relaxing on the large ocean-view lanai every night for the spectacular and amazing Sunsets! Aside from being a Beautiful property, the owner, Dave, went out of his way to accommodate and coordinate my stay at their property. They had everything I needed already there including the internet. Very close to downtown, the famous farmers market and the great beaches that line Alii drive! But still my fav part of this property was the sitting in their nice teak lounge chairs out on the Lanai, eating mangos and looking and listening to the ocean. Oh yeah...I also put a small paper plate of Jelly out for the Gecko's so I had some company while sitting out there!

This unit is Pam & Daves condo and set up for them (and us) to enjoy all they have done and provided.Nothing is needed in furnishings, kitchen utensils, spices etc. It is kept in wonderful condition. This is one of the best units in one of the best condo developments we have seen. The grounds are beautiful and immaculately maintained. The warm pool has both shade & sun. The view from the lanai looking over the town, cruise ships, dolfins, stc is great. This was one of the best vacations we have had.

What an island and what a serene place to kick back and enjoy the sound and smell of the surf. Even though we have been to the Big Island many times, we found new sites to explore and dozens of sea turtles to admire. Thanks to Dave and Pam's recommended restaurant list, we hit some new spots along with some old favorites. The kitchen at the condo is a wonderful place for meals also. Thanks Pam and Dave for all the nice touches to your home.

Our first visit to the Big Island was perfect in your wonderful condo. The location just outside the main shopping area of Kona is great and we enjoyed waliking for exercise into town several mornings. The view from the lanai is just awesome, and the apartment is perfectly furnished and equipped. We will be back! Thanks so much for a great spot!

This was the perfect location for celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. This oceanfront condo far exceeded our expectations. The condo was very clean and well equipped. We did fish one day and caught a 643lb blue marlin. The perfect ending to a perfect anniversary.

03-03-08 to 03-09-08 What a glorious time we all had. The beauty of your condo and view from the lanai was spectacular! We watched the cruise ships go in and out of the bay along with the whales and dolfins. Words alone cannot express the time we spent at your beautiful part of Paradise. We just returned from our 14 days in Hawaii, 11 of those days were spent in this marvelous condo. What a fantastic "bit of paradise"! Our "home away from home" was shared with another couple and we all truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely place. The accommodations were outstanding, the community was so friendly, and the Kona sunsets were truly memorable. The suggestions provided for activities and restaurants were excellent. This condo has everything you need to enjoy The Big Island. Just head to the grocery store and you are set. Within walking distance of Kailua-Kona commercial area (1 mile). The owners were very accommodating and easy to work with, and Paul took good care of us when we arrived.

Well, we've stayed here twice...Once with our four children, and once without, and BOTH stays were beyond what we could have asked for...The quiet location with proximity to town was the perfect balance to relaxation and activity. Your condo was fantastic! We were very comfortable and enjoyed the use of it. It is very well equipped with everything we could possibly want or need. Our stay in Kona was fantastic and this wonderful condo put it over the top. Every moring with coffee on the lanai watching the ships and parachutes and going to bed at night listening to the surf. The two bedrooms are separated, each with its own bathroom. Very, very clean, new kitchen. So quiet and laid-back witha wonderful swimming pool. Best we have ever had. Thanks Dave and Pam

We returned home from our first trip to the big island last week. The condo was fantastic and included absolutely everything we needed for our 1.5 week stay. It was spacious, comfortably furnished, very clean and located close to everything we enjoyed doing in Kona. The view from the lania was stunning and my morning coffee hasn't been the same since returning home! The condo is ideal for a family or two couples, with the bedrooms and their own baths located at opposite ends of the condo. I'd highly recommmend it for anyone traveling to the Kona area. A big plus was the attentiveness and helpfulness of the owners, Dave and Pam. Can't wait to return next year!

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. I traveled with my parents to a wedding in Kona and the condo afforded the perfect amount of privacy for two parties. The kitchen is new and the condo is well furnished not to mention immaculate. A starter supply of everything from paper towels to laundry detergent was such a help. The complex is extremely quiet. A big thank you to Paul. He met us with a key, showed us around and gave us some great tips. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.
