Less than 500 yards from the oceanfront street, our vacation villa is a tropical paradise with a lush garden and a 2 level swimming pool. Loaded with amenities for comfort and convenience, the upstairs 2 bedroom 2 bath is called Casa Tomas and it is totally separate and private from our 2 bedroom 2 bath downstairs.
Both are filled with amenities and extras that we enjoy as this is our family's "home-away-from-home". We are happy to accept reservations from vacationers who come to Cozumel, enjoy the extras our vacation home offers and treat it as they would their own home.
Relax in a lounge chair by the pool or in one of the double sized hammocks under the large palapa roofed patio.
Walk toward the ocean and you are 3 minutes from a major supermarket (Chedraui) and 7 minutes from another (Mega). If you walk 15 minutes to the south (past the swim with dolphin area and dive shops) you come to a public beach called Playa Caletita.
If you walk 15 minutes to the north (past a number restaurants, a new town plaza and many shops) and you are at the main square downtown.

Why the Owner Chose Cozumel Island
After years of vacationing on Cozumel and a number of other destinations, it became clear that Cozumel had the most to offer. Prices are quite reasonable, there are wonderful restaurants, the international airport on Cozumel has flights from the U.S. and Canada or guests can fly into Cancun if they prefer. The Mexican Caribbean water is clear and beatufil, there are sandy beaches and the weather is marvelous. Vacationers can enjoy world class scuba diving, great snorkeling, kite boarding and other water sports as well as a variety of activities on land. Most of all, it’s known as a safe, family destination.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
We have filled our vacation home with amenities and extras our family enjoys and guests appreciate, yet our rates are most reasonable.
Outside: a tropical garden, a parking area inside the gates, 2 covered patios, hammocks, a rock fountain, two level swimming pool, outdoor shower, dive rinse tank, drying area for scuba or snorkeling gear and a gas grill.
Inside: Of course there are the basics such as air conditioning, sheets, bath towels, beach towels and maid service, plus extras that make guests so much more comfortable. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, guests may use the washer and dryer for their personal laundry (except when the maid is using them to launder the sheets and towels). There is wireless high speed interent access and unlimited free calls to the U.S. or Canada (just bring a laptop with a USB port). There are pool and beach toys plus a cooler and canvas beach mats you can take to the beach.
The showers in both bathrooms have grab bars, there are wine glasses and margarita glasses, a small safe for your valuables, LOTS of ice trays in the freezer, foam toppers on the king size beds, a flat panel Sony TV with surround sound, cable service, a library of paperback books, a DVD player and large selection of DVD movies.

After living most of my life in Texas (Houston, Austin, Dallas and Tyler) since May 2000 I have lived on Cozumel in a home only a few blocks from our family's vacation home, Villas Topaz. How wonderful to live on this beautiful island with sandy beaches, scuba diving, snorkeling and all around the island are the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean. I have found my paradise. Cozumel is the safest place I have ever lived, the people are warm and friendly and the weather is fantastic.

I have stayed at this property several times. With a small group, we have rented either upstairs or downstairs. With larger groups, the entire villa is available with your own private pool, outdoor grill, lounge chairs, hammocks and palapa. The backyard is amazing.......beautiful flowers and trees, the sound of the waterfall, shaded palapa with a ceiling fan. Sitting out early in the morning with a cup of coffee to watch the birds and sometimes an iguana is a vacation in itself. The house is kept spotlessly clean and if you have the occasion problem, the staff is very prompt in taking care of you. You are welcomed with beer and soft drinks in the refrigerator and a few snacks on the counter. The Chedraui grocery is 1.5 blocks away and a perfect place to pick up groceries, drinks or anything you might have forgotten to pack. There is a large gated area for parking your vehicle at night which is very nice. The rooms and yard are exactly as pictured! The reservation process is very easy and all questions are answered. The owner goes out of the way to accomodate you and make you feel at home. The home is inviting and feels very safe. The area is a great neighborhood and walking to nearby restaurants or shops is not a problem. I've stayed here several times during different times of the year and always enjoy this rental. I would recommend this rental for a getaway to paradise!!

1st off I would like to thank you and Kathy. Our stay at Casa Tomas was better than our expectations. We were very comfortable, and relaxed during our stay. The place was well set up and maintained. The staff you have employed was top rate, and courteous. They kept the place well cleaned and everything both inside and out was excellent. As that was our 1st trip to Cozumel, we really didnt know what to expect. As it turned out we were very pleased we chose Casa Tomas over any hotel there in Cozumel. We plan on returning next year, and depending how many divers we can get to come with us, we plan on staying with you every trip we make. We would like to rent the whole house next year if we can get enough people to go. Again, thank you for making our stay memorable. you will have repeat customers for as long as you stay in business.

This home has everything you could want in a vacation stay. Not only is it beautiful. It is designed to accommodate small or larger groups (there were five in our party). The grounds are beautiful and immaculate. The pools (yes, there are two, one flowing into the other) are pristine. Maid service is daily except Sunday and is very conscientious. We had breakfast under the palapa. I listened to the fountain through our bedroom window at night, and we walked a very short distance to shopping. You don't even have to pack a beach towel because they're provided. It's obvious that the owner takes great pride in making sure guests have everything they need. We'll be back.

We had a great time in Cozumel. The condo was as advertised and was much nicer than the places we normally stay. Poncho met us at the airport got us settled and was on time when we checked out. The maid service was great, again, something we normally don’t experience when we rent condos or houses in other locations. It was a great value, and, we have already recommended it to some other folks we met on the dive boat.
