This newly renovated and charming Martha's Vineyard summer cottage is the quintessential island getaway. Located within historic Edgartown Village, the Vineyard Hideaway is conveniently located to shops, restaurants, bicycle path, shuttle bus and more.
The Vineyard Hideaway Cottage features 20' cathedral ceilings with whitewashed tongue-and-groove paneling, wide plank pine floors, cottage-style furnishings, folk art, and designer touches throughout.
MAIN FLOOR
On the Main Floor the cottage features a sitting area with sofa, side chairs and bench table. This is a comfortable place for watching television, reading, or simply relaxing after a long day at the beach. The sleeping area includes a beautiful shutter-style queen canopy bed, two matching side tables and large bureau. The cottage also has a fully-equipped eat-in kitchen with seating for 2-4 a full bath with shower.
The Vineyard Hideaway Cottage is outifitted for comfort and style. There are quality designer bed linens, cottage quilts and plus 100% cotton bath towels. The cottage also is equipped with a portable air conditioner for comfort during the summer months.
SLEEPING LOFT
A spiral staircase leads up to a sleeping loft with two twin beds. (NOTE: The loft is a favorite for kids -- but may not be appropriate for younger-aged children).
COVERED PORCH
A 30' by 10' covered porch extends across the entire front of the cottage and features an outdoor dining table (seats four) and a Weber gas grill. At the other end of the porch, there is a wicker sofa, chair, table and lamp for reading and relaxing area
PRIVATE YARD & GARDENS
The cottage is nicely set back with a private yard that is framed on the front by a 6' privet hedge backed by a lattice-topped white fence. The sides are bordered by hedges, and the back of the home is surrounded by another 6' fence. Perennial gardens frame the porch and entry.
PRIVATE PARKING & BIKE RACK
There is a private crushed shell driveway and parking area located adjacent to the cottage and bikes are easily stored on the bike rack which are also located here.
