This is a very comfortable and versatile place for a larger family or group (we slept six very comfortably). The bedrooms are well-spaced and have their own bathrooms, the kitchen is nicely integrated with the great room and dining room - all with a terrific view of the lake. Super fishing dock with kayaks - all on a nice section of the lake within minutes of downtown Milledgeville. Furnishings are comfortable and clean, and the owner is deliightful to deal with.

We elected to head south for a long winter's break and were very pleased with our pick on Stephanie Lane. First, Jeanne was very easy to work with to accomodate our plans. The beds were VERY comfy and the kitchen fully equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sunsets most evenings. The house is conveniently located to Milledgeville (10 minutes) and the golf courses my husband played. Our young grandchildren found the house very kid-friendly. It was a very comfortable and relaxing winter month + that we spent there.

Myself and my Mother and Father rented this lake house for 3 weeks in June/July, I have to say this house was by far the best property we have rented, everything we could have possible needed or wanted was in the house. I would like to take this opertunity to say thank you to Andrew and Jeannie Boyd for the use of there magnificent lake home. We hope to return next year to this lake house because of the joyous and peacefull time we had during our stay.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend. My dad had a great time, we really surprised him this time. He enjoyed the fishing, (no we did not catch anything, but trying was just as fun), watching his great grandchildren play, his grandchildren in the kayaks, and just all of his children there was perfect. Your place is truly beautiful. Again Jeanne, thank you for really making this a wonderful birthday for my dad!

We had a fantastic weekend; thank you again for sharing your home with us! The weather was a little chilly but still beautiful. The water was peaceful - only a handful of boats. It was so nice to sit on the dock in the sun or laze around the living room or TV room. The kitchen was perfect and we staked out the master for ourselves and just closed off the other two rooms. Thank you again for a well-accommodated and therefore relaxing weekend. :)

I have rented this home at least four times in the past couple of years. It is a great getaway from the busy city. The lake is always quite making waterskiing, kayaking, or simple pontooning a true pleasure. The water level was totally full even in the worst of the drought. I've enjoyed this lake house with "the girls" on a fun weekend and have had a romantic stay with my beloved. The home is fully functional and the local town is adorable. It is great any time of the year, too - not just the summer months. I can't wait to return this summer! This place is a must stay. Bring kids, bring friends, bring a loved one... and bring your sunblock.

My family and I have been coming to this home for 4 years now and will continue to as long as we can. Not only is the home comfortable and beautiful, but RELAXING!!! The views are unmatched and the peace and quiet is welcomed. We will go all week just enjoying the water activities, swimming from the dock, boating and grilling. The area is full of great things to do such as golfing or just visiting the shopping in the downtown area! I have been to alot of places in the world, and I have had my share of vacations, but this is absolutely the most relaxing vacation I have ever had, which is why it has become an annual retreat for my family and I!

We had a great time at your house. The master bed was very comfortable. The lake is ideal for doing water sports. We skied, tubed, wake boarded, and used a few other water-ride gadgets. Your dock was awesome. It was the hangout for three separate days for all of the families because it had cover. We had game day at Rocky Creek--nice picnic with plenty of games including shoes, volleyball, and water balloon tossing. Thanks again for being so hospitable. Ronnie

Jeanne, I wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at your lake home this weekend! The house is beautiful and the view is spectacular. We really like the wall with the hand (and other!) prints on it. Thank you so much for working with us on a later check-out time. I hope we left everything satisfactory! Thanks again! Sarah

The pictures online did not do as much as the actual beauty of the palace. We kept the blinds opened , we did not want to miss not one moment of the splendor of the lake . The rooms were nice and we had everything needed to stay in. There's plenty to see around and about shops store resturants etc.but the weather was just right to make you want to stay around. The walk in the quite early morning and the play area for the little ones just perfect. Everyone can go out and experience their own wonderful adventure . This property is the perfect getaway . Can't wait until the next visit to hit the full lake. Thanks

The house is adorable with gorgeous lake views from nearly every room in the house. We rented the house for a girl's weekend/ reunion and had a really fun time. The house was perfect and all of us fit comfortably! We kayaked, swam in the lake, and spent a lot of time just sitting on the back porch overlooking the lake relaxing and catching up with each other over a glass of wine. It is the perfect girl's getaway!!

For those of you that just want to GET AWAY...this is the place. For the past 3 years my family and I have returned here simply because this place is BEAUTIFUL! Waking up and enjoying this view, the implausible sunrise surrounded by the awe inspiring nature makes you wish time would just stop. I'm a work-aholic who never stops but for my 1 week each year I come here with my family and just DO NOT want to leave. We swin, fish, boat and just enjoy quality, much needed family time. No outside distractions at all, just a relaxing vacation. You are close to a golf course and town that include shopping and dining, but far enough away to make you feel that there is nothing but you! Take advantage of their beautiful new boat dock (not pictured) and swim and fish in the privacy of your own front yard. Their huge front deck is a MUST to enjoy the sunrise and sunset, BBQ's and just enjoying the piece and quite that nature affords. Take my word for it, this is the place to be if you want to relax and spend that much needed break from the realities of the world that we all need. You will not regret it!!!
