Why the Owner Chose Beech Mountain
We have owned at least one home on Beech Mountain since our children were babies. One is a Duke graduate, another NCSU . We attended ASU and although we live in Weddington NC, you never quite get over having a mountain getaway.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet
We love to walk, read by the fire, play board games and entertain our kids and whatever friends they bring along. It is a perfect place for a girls getaway, which is what I'll be doing with my sisters-in-law while the boys go fishing in Alaska. It has a lot of entertainment year round, gem mining, zip line, putt putt, swiming (with pd guest membership) and many fine resturants.
Owner's Map of Beech Mountain
My husband and I were high school sweethearts and went together to ASU. I own a real estate brokerage firm in Weddington--Allison & Associates Realty and he owns a plastics profile extrusion and recycling company, Special Service Plastics in Charlotte.

We just came back from a week at your house! We had a great time and the house was perfect for us. It is a great set up for 2 families. The house was VERY clean and had all that we needed. We enjoyed the views of the waterfall and the convenience to the ski slopes. We even had a snowwoman that came to life on our back deck! :)
Owner response:Thank you Amy, we love our happy guests! Our snow plow fellow came the night before and went back the next morning when you were coming in, we wanted to be sure your special needs for relatives were taken care of!

Excellent time, great house, perfect for a family vacation. The house has everything we needed. We all loved it and want to go back in the future. Will definitely recommend the house to everybody, actually have already forwarded details to a couple of friends. It was a pleasure doing business with The Allison's family. I can just say you will enjoy the place way more than you expect it.

We had seven adults and 5 children. The house was everything promised and more. At night when we put the children to bed it was so serene sitting out on the deck and overlooking the waterfall and wildlife. Hard to believe just a short couple of streets away we had Freds, great resturants and so much to do. No one was ready to leave and our host were so gracious about a few questions we had. Definitely going to be regulars. We saw they have many other rugulars from the written guestbook inside. No surprise. It is a fantastic home with every amenity.
Owner response:Thank you for staying with us! We hope to see you again soon.

A dream house. Fantastic location, fantastic house, fantastic owners. Second year coming up here. We will certainly be back. We've researched a number of properties and this one is at the top of the list. Secluded but close to town, well maintained, wonderful porch view, very quiet. 200% worth the money. Wish we could stay for a whole season.

This place is exactly what you think of when you dream of time spent in a swiss mountain chalet. It is so comfortable with each of the four baths located inside each bedroom. And the stone fireplaces and cathedral ceiling! This is definitely a place we are going to visit in the summer as well!

We have stayed here Four times so far. The sound of rushing water at night is wonderful while you have cocktails on one of the decks and the tennis, pool and fishing at Buckeye Lake is within walking distance. I find new fly fishing spots every time I go and the resturants nearby are out of this world. (And I trained as a chef). My wife loved the art galeries and antiquing at the flea market. This is the only house for us! Top of the line furnishings, utensils and mattresses!
