Little Eazy-Your Own Apartment in Nola-Steps to French Quarter
Why the Owner Chose Marigny-Bywater
I fell in love with New Orleans on my first visit to New Orleans in 1988. After coming to New Orleans frequently I quit staying in hotels and preferred to have my own place. The Little Eazy was owned by Charles and Diana, and it became my second home on my visits to Nola. When I was talking to Diana one day, I told her I would love to own a house in New Orleans and she told me they were thinking of selling the Little Eazy. So my husband and I bought it and continue to run it as a guest house. I love owning it, I get to meet some very unique people. People who like to like to do things a little different, and who prefer to see a local view of the city.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
I am a music person and we are SO close to Frenchman St. which has some of the best music in the country, and only blocks away. I can take a walk on a lovely evening through the French Quarter at anytime, yet it is nice because I am not in the middle of the quarter, but just outside it. In the evening you can sit on the front swing and watch the horses go back to the stables. The Marigny-Triangle is one of the best neighborhoods in the city. Also the hot-tub is great for relaxing on a busy day of shopping and no one else goes in it but you and your guests.

Nice and cosy pleasant little house. Away from the noise and heat of the New Orleans's nest of vice, but fortunately not too far :) You can crawl home from The Quarter on all fours in no time :)) Quiet at nights, friendly people on the street at day - nice neighborhood. Lots of true sweet local bars in walking distance, lots of fine restaurants in walking distance too.. 24th hour grocery is couple blocks away. House is equipped with lots of stuff you need.. towels, iron, bath stuff, wireless broadband internet, central air conditioning etc. Although there wasn't a cooker - microwave and coffee machine was nice alternative. It's enough to cook quick breakfast or late supper. And you don't need more, cooking and eating at home is the last thing you should do in NOLA! Advice from our family is to visit the "Iggy's" bar, it's 3 min walking on Touro st. and N Rampart st. It's true bar and they do real local crawfish boil, not that tourist crap they do in tourist restaurants. You buy beer and get food for free. Crawfish boil is a sort of a daily special, and you should ask the exact day and time they gonna have the boil. They do other things like BBQ etc. and the same thing here: buy a drink - food for free. Also you should check the house, there is some kind of tourist guides collection in the folder - truly an encyclopedia of New Orleans places, you can easily choose a place to eat or to party. The last but not the least - her majesty Hot Tub :) It was amazing having a hot tub in the back yard. And the back yard is amazing by itself. And as a separate item I should say a few words about the owners. Margaret and Rick. Guys, you're the best hosts ever. Wonderful, nice, helpful, open people. It was great pleasure meeting you. Our stay was short but you've done so many things for us, really making our stay a delight. Thank you for all from all of us! Hope we'll meet again.
Owner response:We really enjoy meeting the guests who stay at the Little Eazy and do what we can to help everyone have a great time during their stay in Nola. Also we always appreciate the nice reviews. Margaret

If I ever moved to NO, I would kill for a place in this neighborhood; charming, safe, and overflowing with character. Walking distance from many great restaurants, The Quarter, Bourbon St., and most importantly, the unique nightlife of Frenchman St. Additionaly, the hosts are the most friendly and helpful people ever to grace the south. Do yourself a favor and book this place if it is available.

wonderful little cottage. no stove but fine for breakfast and lunch since there is a microwave. Nice quiet location, $6.00 cab ride to Fr. Qtr so convenient without the noise or smells of the Quarter. Great place for families although hard for 2 non related couples since the bathroom is accessible only through one bedroom and has no door. Did love the hot tub and the very private lanai in back. Parking in front of the cottage was great and very convenient. Would definitely stay here in the future.
Owner response:I am please that Lynne and her family enjoyed their stay at the Little Eazy and New Orleans.
