This elegantly appointed condominium is conveniently located in the community development of "The Oaks At Wasatch" between Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and is literally, only minutes from Snowbird, Alta, Brighton, and Solitude Ski Resorts.

The ski house is approximately 8 miles away or 20 minutes away from all four major ski resorts. Occasionally, Alta and Snowbird will get so much snow that they are forced to close down the road for several hours due to Avalanche control. This is not a problem when you are located here, on these days, we make a right out of the community and ski either Solitude or Brighton which is nearly the same distance, it's really cool.

Being located at the base of the mountain between little and big cotton wood canyon has location proximity advantages. Make a left from the community and head to towards Alta and Snowbird. Make a right from the community and head to Solitude and Brighton. You are also close to the restaurants, super-markets, Starbucks, therapeutic massage clinic (I like "Massage Envy"), shopping, freeway and airport. If you don't want to drive, walk to the ski shuttle, it's an easy 5 min walk.

1. Gorgeous NEW HOT TUB, on brand new expanded patio deck over looking the park. Plus a BBQ.

2. FREE Hi-Speed Internet Access both wireless or direct connect. Hotels typically charge $10 per day. Bring your laptop and get connected.

3. Take the shuttle bus to the ski resort for only a few bucks. Often times there will be people in your group that want to go super early and some later. If one group takes the car, the other group has the option of taking the shuttle. The shuttle is about 1000 yards away from the house and will drop you off right at the slopes.

4. Huge 48" Wide Screen DLP Television with DVD player is ideal for watching movies on a big TV.

5. We do not use a property management company, we own and operate our house. Dealing directly with me means last minute specials up to 50% off nightly rates! 48 Hours Prior to check in on unbooked nights.

Highlighted in this three bedroom unit is a double whirlpool tub in the master bath. This home also feature vaulted ceiling, wood-burning or gas fireplace, washer and dryer, and a double car garage.

Bedroom Layout and Configuration:
This is a spacious 1600 square foot, two-story condominium. The three bedrooms are located upstairs.

Bedroom #1 is the Master Bedroom.
Queen-size bed with 2 inch foam pad over it.
The master bedroom has its own large private bathroom with shower, jacuzzi tub, and double vanity sinks. Large walk-in closet and has its own 27 inch TV with DVD player.

Bedroom #2 Features a large full-size bunkbed with a pull-out twin at the bottom. The full-size beds are spacious enough to sleep two adults if needed. Bedroom# 2 alone can sleep three to five people, which is ideal for the kids.

Bedroom #3 has a queen-size bed with a two inch foam pad. This bedroom is ideal for a couple, there is a computer desk with chair where you can put your laptop and have a place to do your work if needed.

Howdy! During the winter we ski mostly Utah and Canada, during the rest of the year we reside on the coast of sunny southern California. We are loyal Utah skiers who have skied all over North America and Europe. This truly is the greatest snow on earth! Happy skiing!

Why the Owner Chose Alta

I'm writing this for my husband. :) He bought here because simply put, he is a ski snob. Type of guy who won't bother unless the snow conditions are ideal. House location and Skiing in this area is just superb close to all that matters.

The Unique Benefits of this Townhouse Condominium

Only 8 miles away from the resort. You can walk to the ski bus shuttle which is only a 3 minute walk. It's ridiculously convenient to the airport, only a 20 minute drive so you can focus on getting on the mountain instead of hanging out the airport or road travel.

      Auco, The property met our needs very well. We were very happy with the location and the layout of the house. It was very well set up for a family of our size (4 kids). We have skied at various places around the western US and really like Utah as well. We spent all 4 of our skiing days at Solitude this year, although we have been to Alta and Snowbird before (without kids). We were already talking about going back next year, hopefully with another family next time. So I think there is a good chance we will be contacting you next summer or fall to set up another ski vacation, and that we would want the 4 bedroom house next time to accommodate a second family. I will remember the 10% discount as well. Thanks, Todd

    • Love this place! It was perfect for us. Hot tub a definite plus! Easy to reach ski rental/discount lift tickets and easy to reach the slopes. Comfortable bed (I slept in master). Great to be able to park in garage, leave skis/equipment in garage. Try "Asian Star" for sushi. Had so much fun, wish it could continue!
