We just returned from spending five days at the Bahama House in beautiful Dana Point. The property was very clean, quiet and well maintained. It was great staying where our family could all be in one large space instead of hotel rooms. Beds were very comfortable and having a full kitchen & a washer and dryer in the unit was great. We took many walks to the beach and the young kids also enjoyed the pool area. Janet was very friendly and available for any questions we had. We were also allowed to check in early since our flight arrived before noon. I would definitely recommend the Bahama House to anyone staying in the Dana Point area!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The condo was beautiful, clean, and VERY well stocked with everything we needed. The location is gorgeous and was close to all of the tourist attractions of Dana Point and Laguna Beach. We enjoyed the view of the ocean with our morning coffee and the amazing sunsets over the water. Janet was a pleasure to work with...available whenever we needed her. All in all a most pleasant stay!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We arrived at the Bahama House on March 8th and immediately loved the condo. Very clean and comfortable. The condo was perfect for my family of 3 and my sisters family of 4. The beach across the street is by far the most beautiful beach that we saw on the coast. We would without a doubt love to stay there again in the future. We had no problems at all and the local people living in the complex were all very pleasant and welcoming. LOVED IT!!!!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at the condo was great. It was the first time we've rented a condo rather than a hotel room, and it was a great decision. The condo is stocked with everything you could possibly need, including beach chairs and toys and ample towels (both bathing and beach). We were traveling with 3 kids, including one who slept for a week in the provided pack & play, and it was perfect. Thank you! Only two things to note: The beds are quite high, which would have been problematic if my elderly father had been traveling with us; and the condo is not within walking distance of anything but the GORGEOUS beach. Restaurants and shops are very close by car, but not within walking distance.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Condo was clean, would recommend to family or friends, photos of condo were accurate! We had a great time! We did not want to leave! It was close to everything that we love...walks in the morning were the best! All the extras that were in the Condo were helpful. Rented paddle boards, went to our favorite beaches, and ate at great restaurants! We would love to stay again for sure!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Chris from Mukilteo My family of 5 stayed the last week of June and had a great time. Great condo and a nice complex with a walk down stairs to the beach. My family (adult children) and I spent the long Memorial Day weekend in Dana Point for my son's wedding. His now-wife had found the wonderful Bahama House for us to stay in while we were in OC for the wedding. It is a beautifully decorated 3-bedroom. The living room has a wonderfully comfortable large couch which we happily collapsed on in-between wedding festivities. The beds weree incredibly comfortable - so much that my daughter wanted to take it home with her! We found the unit to be very clean and inviting. The owner was very responsive to questions I had. Because we stayed for four nights, we had the opportunity to walk down to the beach a few times (which was great.) We would definitely recommend this property to anyone who needs/wants a beautiful place to stay while visiting Dana Point.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a great time we had at the Bahama house. Comfortable 3 BR condo, close to pool, beach, restaurants,....Weather was the only thing we didn't have control of,...FOG!!! The condo was clean, and Janet was available to answer any questions we had. We enjoyed the pier at San Clemente, and just hanging around the condo with family from California and Arizona. Our family of 4 + my father stayed at the condo for one week and truly enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room for the kids and privacy when we needed it. The condo was well equipped with beach toys, towels and even a high chair for our little guy. We loved Dana Point and enjoyed day trips to Legoland and Seaworld. The pool was a great temp for little ones and very well maintained. Overall, it was a great experience and we would recommend it to anyone.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our extended family of 8 stayed at this property for a week (6 adults and 2 children). The condo was furnished nicely, including comfortable beds and quality linens. There is a new sectional sofa in the living room, which was an excellent place for all of us to sit and spend time together. The property is extremely clean, well maintained, and very quiet. Across the street is a beautiful beach with a great walking path, which we used every morning. We watched the surfers each day, and even spotted several dolphins swimming off shore. We had many beautiful sunsets to enjoy while there and there is a nice view of the ocean from the master bedroom deck. We had one small problem with a circuit breaker going out, and the owners were very prompt and efficient at getting that fixed without any disruption to our day. Overall, a great property! We recently spent a most enjoyable week at the Bahama House . The condo itself is very well equipped and furnished tastefully throughout . The rooms are spacious and every detail has been considered . There are laundry facilities too , which is a bonus . The complex is very peaceful and , in spite of it being early February we enjoyed a few days relaxing by the pool - which again was very quiet. The complex is on a bluff above Stands beach , the views are amazing and there is easy access down to the beach. It is a short drive down to Dana Point Harbour where there are restaurants, shopping and some great boat trips . We went out on two dolphin /whale watching trips and at the end of our stay we took the express over to Catalina Island which was wonderful. We would definately stay again !Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This spacious condo had everything we needed for a family of five. We comfortably made meals in the kitchen and relaxed in the living room. Our children, ages 3 to 10, had plenty of sleeping space. The condo is in a great location just steps away from the beautiful Monarch Beach, on the ocean side of Pacific Coast Highway. We enjoyed the beautiful local scenery and nearby tourist town of Laguna, and we also drove one hour to the San Diego Zoo. We even caught a ferry to Catalina Island. The owners were easy to do business with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The condo was great! The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the kitchen had everything we needed! The location was perfect-walking distance to the beach and a quick drive to Laguna, Newport, etc. We have stayed here 3 times and have enjoyed it every time!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

My family of four stayed here with another family of four and it was perfect! It is located across the street from Strands Beach, which is beautiful and quiet. We were there on Memorial Day which was busier, but otherwise we practically had the whole stretch of beach to ourselves. The condo had everything we needed. There is a grocery store within minutes. The owner was pleasant, easy to deal with, and promptly refunded our deposit. Overall, it was a great experience.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
