This comfortable ocean front cottage with a spectacular granite shore on the Narragragus Bay faces Trafton Island, a beautiful night haven for power and sailboats. Waves pound the black ledges and green islands spotting the horizon, which reflects brilliant orange and red at sunset. Visitors can explore three miles of granite shore which ranges from five to seventy feet above the sea.
Explore and pick up shells, snails, a starfish, or a mussel. You and your family can play volleyball, outdoor ping-pong, and enjoy the flower gardens on the lawn. Relax and watch lobster boats harvest their catch as well as boats dragging for scallops.
The homey cottage has been recently renovated with rustic pine walls, wood floors, a new bathroom with a walk-in shower, a modern kitchen, a dining room, a large family room with a wood-burning fireplace, and a screened in porch.
The cottage has one queen-size, one double and one twin bed each with ceiling fans. The porch has an excellent view of the water, usually accompanied by a cool ocean breeze.
The beauty of the Maine shore does not stop when the sun goes down. After dinner, relax on the porch or in lounge chairs on the lawn and enjoy the moon’s reflection off the water. On a clear night, the sky is out of this world. |
