Four friends used this house for an extended weekend. We enjoyed the very comfortable layout and accommodations that allowed us to relax and enjoy the area. The house is about 10 minutes from Whistler and shorter distances to hiking. The Whistler area is beautiful and this location is great to feel a bit away from the crowds and yet access that beauty quickly.

We loved being able to come back to the tranquility of the place after the busy days we had in and around Whistler. The 'rustic' charm of the place fitted right in with the surroundings of the woods and the lake. Great value for money with the luxury of an outdoor hot tub to soak away those aches and pains.

We stayed here for the July long weekend and really enjoyed it. Lots of space for two families of four and great that we could bring our dog along! Very peaceful and relaxing with lots to do nearby to keep the kids entertained such as swimming, canoeing, biking and a 15 minute drive to Whistler village. A beautiful spot that I would recommend to others.

We had a great time at Richard's home. It's a short drive from Whistler Village, just far enough to feel like you're truly in the forest. Everything about the house was great, including the hot tub and canoe to paddle around the lake. All in all, a great experience. I would highly recommend this if you're looking for a great get away.

We recently stayed at the home for a week in March. It has a great floor plan and is the perfect distance away from the main town of Whistler to allow us to feel like we had a bit of seclusion and privacy while being able to get to the activity when we wanted. We are planning on returning annually for a retreat and can't wait to bring our kids for the next trip so they can enjoy as well. I can imagine that it would be amazing year-round due to it's location but it was so fun to be there in the winter, surrounded by the snow. Such a great home!

This house is great for a ski trip to Whistler. Our group of 8 adults enjoyed the hot tub, barbeque, spacious kitchen and living room. The bed situation was even better than promised and would work well for a big family or 2 small families. On thing we really appreciated is that the house really does accommodate 8 adults - there are 8 places at the kitchen table, and enough seating for everyone in the living room. Few places that say they sleep 8 actually work out this well. Wireless internet service was very handy. The drive to Whistler was short enough and we loved the quiet in this gated community. The owner did require payment in cash equivalent (we mailed a cashiers check in US dollars), but don't worry - he provided what was promised and we were entirely comfortable. Treat this house well so it stays available for years to come.

We had a very pleasant stay here. There was plenty of room for two couples and two teens. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and more. This is a quiet, casual location that is great for relaxing and visiting with family and friends. We spent time enjoying the warm weather, relaxing on the dock on the property and the nearby swimming wharf. We would definitely come back. Everything completely met and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a great holiday.

My wife and daughter and I really enjoyed our stay in the cabin it had everything we needed. The wood burner was really great as the weather was a bit changeable at times and the central heating worked very well too. It would be nice to return when the snow is on the ground.

We just had the nicest visit at the Hunters cabin. The house was very cozy, well equipped even down to a great spice collection and condiments in the fridge. The bedrooms were very large, lots of seating space in the cozy living room and the hot tub was in tip top shape. We had wonderful family meals and everyone could sit at the large dining table. The kitchen was a nice large size, so we could all cook together. We hope to visit again later in the ski season. Great Place!!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakefront Log Home with our friends. The house provided all that we needed - good kitchen, spacious living room, hot tub, two nice bathrooms, and comfortable bedrooms. All of the 4 bedrooms have queen size beds with one room having an additional set of bunk beds. We came to Whistler for a ski vacation and it was nice to get away from the crowds each evening. The Creekside Gondola is an easy 15 min drive; it was great to use the free parking there and start skiing quickly. The surronding environment was quiet, peaceful, and restful. We recommend this home and hope to return soon ourselves.

Sylvia and I were on our first vacation 'childfree' in four years! We love mountain biking and have always wanted to bike whistler. To complement our stay, finding a perfect cabin 'away' from the crowds was paramount. Richard's cabin on VRBO appeared too good to be true. As we drove up September 3rd, our hopes were quickly surpassed. Richard's cabin is exactly AND MORE what is described in the listing. It was spotless and fully stocked. Even the cookware was high-end with matching dishes, silverware ect. The kitchen was huge and a joy to cook in. The living room large, friendly with great views of the lake and a good home theater system. He even had movies to watch for all demographics (toddlers, children, teens, women and us dudes - Mission Impossible!). The bedrooms were open and comfortable (there are four) with one dedicated to children (a double, a bunk bed and TV. The lake is immediately out the back door with a canoe ready for exploration. The dock has two Adirondack chairs with snow peaked mountains in the background. The Jacuzzi became a special star filled night my wife and I will always cherish. There literally was NOTHING wrong - it was the best vacation we've had in years. Being 15 minutes from Whistler, you are close enough to the action, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. We fully recommend Richard's cabin.

It was perfect for our family. The parents got to sleep quietly downstairs while the kids stayed up late upstairs. Everything we needed was provided, accomodations were very nice. The lake was a plus in summer. The kids spent more time there than in Whistler. Cozy and friendly.

The cabin was just the right size for 8 people. It was fully equiped with everything you would need for a great ski vacation. Really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings of Pinecrest Estates. Booking arrangements were easy and straight forward. I would recommend this location to anyone. We will be back again!

This is the perfect place for 2 families in the summer! 4 adults and 4 children fitted in perfectly, and the kitchen was fully equipped for our numbers - we really appreciated that, as we love to cook. The swimming was good while the weather stayed warm, and when it rained, we just holed up in the snug living room. Whistler and it's entertainments are easily accessible, but we enjoyed exploring the local area by bike and on foot.

This is an absolutely fantastic location in a secure, quiet location. Snowy mountains, placid picturesque lake and easily accessible for Whistler, Squamish and waterfalls/parks. Loads of space inside and the lake is suprisingly warm in early June!
