Fantastic Chesapeake Hideaway

Although just days since returning, we are already missing this spectacular vacation home getaway on the upper Chesapeake Bay shore. The view is nature at its best - a quiet waterfront that can change overnight into bent, windswept trees, then back to tranquil shoreline within matter of hours. The house itself is exquisite- beautifully and comfortably appointed with every consideration imaginable. Even in mid-winter, the wood-burning stove lent a warmth and definite glow to the cozy living room. The recently remodeled kitchen was a delight w/ many items provided & a very reasonable replace-if-you-use policy. The owners were likewise a pleasure - always upfront and fair in their expectations, yet very generous and considerate of their guests. While it is tempting to curl up and just enjoy the cabin for the duration of your stay, you should not miss Woody's -the excellent and very fresh local seafood restaurant. Definitely a winning combination!
