Luxurious home which is part of a fully renovated farmhouse dating back to the 18th Century which can accommodate up to 8 people, located in a 5000 sq.m with various fruit trees:
The house ground floor has a large equipped kitchen, a wine cellar and a winter garden as well as a spacious lounge with fireplace, a bedroom and a bathroom with toilet. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one o f which includes a fireplace and a bathroom with toilet.
The environment is quiet and invites you to relax.
A boules court was fitted in the garden and a barbecue is available for tenants.
The Barbey Area is very touristic thanks to its green countryside, forests, the confluence of the river Seine and Yonne with its hiking paths on the side of those two rivers.
Les petits villages environnants sont tous typiques, de l'époque moyennageuse.
The Montereau Town 10 min away from Barbey is stunning thanks to the Napoleon Way, It also has a pottery museum and a beautiful basilica.
20 km away Fontainebleau has numerous places to be discovered such as the forest and climbing rocks without including the famous castle that can be visited all year long.
On the Fontainebleau path a mandatory stop in Moret-sur-Loing with its building dating back from the middle ages and further to the North, Provins and its battlements, song and light show telling all the middle age period and its reserve of golden eagles.
There are the famous Disneyland amusement parks for children even slightly further North.
And if you love animals, come and see the tigers in the Parc des Felins of Lumigny only 60 km away.

On a passé un bon week-end très reposant. Petit footing dans le grand jardin la matin, visite des châteaux de Fontainebleau et Vaux-le-Vicomte et Moret-sur-Loing tout proches, sans oublier la balade le long du canal à 10min à pied. Le gite et les chambres sont très grands et bien aménagés en style ancien et donnent une impression de calme dans cet endroit de verdure très reposant. Les proprios sont très agréables pour vous donner des petits conseils sur le tourisme local. Bref, un week-end très vivifiant pour se dépayser des grandes villes. Appréciation => Mauvaise L'ensemble de la prestation est bien loin du descriptif proposé ici. Une petite liste non exhaustive: C n'est pas une chambre d’hôtes, le petit déjeuner n'est pas compris; l'état de certains sanitaires est déplorable; la maison présente de nombreux dangers en rapport avec l’électricité; une piscine enterrée vide et non protégée trône au milieux du jardin; le barbecue est HS (il s agit d'un demi fût d'huile); le jardin n'est pas clos; le calme et le farniente ne durent que le temps entre deux trains rapides (5 à 7 minutes); la literie n'était pas de la première fraicheur; certaines serviettes non plus; le confort des lits est à revoir; quant à la liste des activités, mieux vaut être motorisé. Après une bonne heure d'explications et de négociation, le proprio à tout de même consenti à nous rembourser la moitié du séjour. Ce que nous avons payé ne valant de toutes façons pas plus.
