Fantastic family vacation

The property exceeded expectations--it was accurate in every descriptive category. We had a multi-generational family party to celebrate our Mother's 90th birthday--9 people, ages 3 to 90 were happily together without any sense of over crowding. The home is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and meticulously clean, not "fussy" but nice--ideal for families with children of all ages. The dining table comfortably seated all of us; kitchen is well equipped. Bikes in the garage were happily used, including the buggy for toddlers. Our adult sons went diving for abalone nearby and brought back limits which they cooked for dinner. Highlights: finding the seal breeding ground/sanctuary nearby; tidal pools with large star fish; deer that go by the living room window; frequent visits by quail in the backyard. The house is as close to the beach as it is possible to get--nothing blocks views from every ocean facing window. A park backs to the property on one side, and there is another State park nearby. There is easy beach access; it is very quiet-- sounds are waves breaking, occasional birdsong. The deck has comfortable seating and is a lovely place to sit in the evenings. About a mile down the road at the corner of Highway 1 is a convenient market; across the street from the market are stables for horseback riding on the beach; Ft. Bragg is a few minutes away and has virtually everything one could need. We had a fantastic chocolate birthday cake from the Harvest Market Bakery in the Boatyard shopping center. When it was time to go, the 3 year old said "I don't want to go home!" He and his great grandmother had fun working puzzles on the large wooden coffee table, exactly the right height and size for multiple activities. Everyone had a wonderful time and I enthusiastically recommend Seahorse Fin for a lovely beach vacation for people of all ages.

After doing much research, my husband and I decided to spend a weekend with our family in Fort Bragg. We invited our parents to stay at the house with us since this was a 3 bedroom house. My mom did all the cooking because she was in love with the kitchen. My dad had plenty to do outside in the yard with the kids, and my husband's dad had two of the best nights sleep of his life. The beds were comfortable, the house had plenty of room, and the kids loved to be outside playing and have their own space in the "play room". We were very thankful to have such wonderful accommodations. We should of stayed longer!

What an awesome house and a perfect location. We had our family reunion here and it was fantastic. The house is lovely; the kitchen was great...and the grounds were super for all of the kids. You can't get much closer to the beach than this. We will be back!

We had a fabulous time over the Thanksgiving weekend in your home. The weather was perfect, the view from the home was awe-inspiring, and the home was lovely. We spent time combing the beach, and running/riding on the logging trail. The weekend could not have been more relaxing and enjoyable. We can hardly wait to go back!
