These two excellent properties are ideally situated for family holidays within a few minutes walk of the village centre and the long sandy beach for which Gullane is renowned. The owner would be pleased to organise golf on various local courses by prior arrangement. The surrounding area offers excellent leisure and recreational facilities for all ages and abilities. Edinburgh is approximately 1/2 hour by car. Gullane has a selection of shops and friendly hotels serving food. In a wonderful position, on the edge of a golf course and enjoying panoramic views across the green expanse of the course to the Lammermuir Hills, this charming semi-detached double upper apartment dates back to the late 19th Century. The spacious open plan living room is very light and bright with large windows to take advantage of the views and patio doors which open out onto a south facing balcony/sun deck with garden furniture, wonderful on warm evenings for relaxing and enjoying the picturesque surroundings. The rooms are modern and comfortable with fresh, attractive furnishings and personal touches. There is a large open grassed area opposite where children can play. A staircase leads from the ground floor entrance to the first floor level: 1 single bedroom, lounge/dining room, balcony/sun deck, well-equipped kitchen, guest wc/whb. Second floor: 2 twin and 1 double bedroom (cot available), family bathroom with shower, and seperate shower room with whb. Gas Rayburn for cooking, central heating plus gas fire in lounge. For larger parties, both properties can be booked together. Bed linen and towels are provided and each property is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, auto washing machine, dishwasher, colour television, video and CD/radio and Playstation.
