  My family had so much fun on our beach house weekend. The house was very clean and neat, had all the food staples as described. The house was very comfortable and felt like home. It was very nicely decorated as well. The house is really right on the beach. We were able to sit on the outside deck and watch our kids play in the sand. The neighbors were friendly. There were no problems at all. Everything went as planned. It was truly an easy booking experience. I can't wait to go back.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

  The house was exactly as pictured. We had never visited Stinson Beach and were looking for a quiet get-a-way. Sharon's place was right on the beach and within easy strolling distance to town. The only thing we could hear at night was the sound of the surf. It doesn't get any better than that.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  This homes is beautifully furnished and cared for. The location is ideal; it is on the beach, a short walk to town, and very easy to drive to Muir Woods, Mt. Tam, Point Reyes, San Francisco, etc. The home has been taken care of wonderfully and includes extras such as games, DVDs, fully equipped kitchen. Both the main house and the cottage are gorgeous and sitting on the deck in the lounge chairs and watching the beach is perfect way to begin and end each day!

  We rented both the house and studio cottage for a Spring weekend, and we were completely charmed and dazzled. The setting, the architecture, the views from each room were well beyond our expectations. We use VRBO rentals on a regular basis in the US and abroad, and this one is by far one of our all time favorites. We'll definitely be back!

  My daughter (7) and I stayed here and it was one of the most beautiful property we have ever stayed. The house was set up so perfect for families. My daughter stayed on the beach all afternoon and played. I could feed, clean and relax on the deck which was right on the sand beach. I can not say enough good things about the property. The owner was very helpful and reachable at all times. Thank you for opening your house to us. We wished we could have stayed longer! We would love to come back again soon.

  Let's face it, there are a lot of hideous vacation rentals. This house is not one of them! It's fast becoming my favorite place to rent in the area North of San Francisco. The location is ideal, literally *on* the beach and with a terrific deck, great outdoor lounge chairs and a picnic table, and tons of cozy outdoor blankets to curl up under if it isn't a warm day. (We think winter is an amazing, underappreciated time here!) From the deck, you get all the benefits of the roar of the ocean and the smell of its mist... the fun of watching beachcombers and happy dogs running about, without having to set up camp in the sand. But, if playing in the sand or waves is your thing, you can't get any closer. And the outdoor shower is a great way to refresh before you go inside. It's still a very short walk up the beach or road to town, and there are some terrific rusty old beach bikes at the house that you can use for transit if you like. The home is also incredibly well appointed. A real family vacations here, and you can feel it. No more scrambling for a potato peeler, silverware or a decent pan if you decide to cook in... this kitchen is well equipped for casual oceanside meals, and has a great 6 burner Wolf stove and outdoor grill. The decor is a nice blend of classic modernist pieces mixed with lots of wood and naturally inspired accessories. No shortage of comfy blankets and sunny corners to curl up in. The wood stove throws off a ton of heat if you decide you need it, and who doesn't like a fire and the smell of woodsmoke? Nothing is fussy or difficult to live with, it's relaxed beach style, but with quality elements and well maintained. We have rented the house alone (it is a 1BR loft home... kids could use the living room to sleep but the loft above is open to it). We have also rented both the house and cottage (a 1BR studio with bath). This is the ideal setup for two couples who want to spend social time together but want a little privacy, or for a family with older kids. If you are looking for a quality environment, but just want to kick off your shoes and be by the ocean for a few days, this is the place for you!

  We had such a wonderful weekend in this beautiful and welcoming beach home that we are now considering taking our big vacation here at Stinson Beach instead of going somewhere far away. Cooking in the amazingly stocked kitchen, which leaves nothing to be desired, as well as grilling on the nice big gas grill was a joy. The space is open, light, clean and cozy and the beds are very comfortable with nice bedding. The deck is ideal and the cottage is beautiful and adorable. You can lie in bed in the morning with the door open to the deck and watch the ocean. It would make a great honeymoon cottage! You would have to try really hard in order to not have an amazing time at this place. We hope to make it a somewhat regular getaway spot. TRULY RENEWING!

  Cannot say enough good things about this property. The home was beautiful and well designed with all windows overlooking ocean. The best part was porch directly over beach. Incredible views and actually wind protected from an adjoiing unit. Ideal for families with kids when you can relax and watch them play in sand or for romantic couples. The house has absolutely everything you may need already included - stocked with dishes, toys, bean bags for kids, and art books. Every detail of this home is perfect - inviting and charming. You really get a sense you are in someone's well furnished home rather than a stark rental unit. We will be back and back again. Cannot imagine a better spot on the beach or home to stay.

  We enjoyed our stay at your home. Love the decor. It was so warm and cozy. The views were breath taken. I slept in the loft,loved when I woke up and the first thing I seen was the ocean threw the windows. We will be back. Thanks for renting out your home.
