Thatcher's Rest is a stunning white-washed seaside thatched cottage full of character and comfort providing an exceptional standard of accommodation for six people. Superbly situated just 20 minutes north of Dublin Airport in a private gated collection of seven luxurious 300 year old thatched cottages. A hamlet like setting in wonderful organic flower gardens with direct private access to a safe sandy six mile long beach.
Thatcher's Rest is an ideal haven for a holiday, short break or the ideal place to switch off during a demanding business trip. This charming cottage has been totally refurbished to a very high standard and extended to provide luxurious accommodation for six adults.
The open plan lounge has a vaulted oak beamed ceiling and solid oak flooring, a feature fireplace with a gas fired stove and bay window with wonderful outstanding sea-views.
The fully fitted farmhouse style pine kitchen has an integrated electric oven and hob together with microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and breakfast bar, CD and Radio.
Thatcher's Rest is furnished with traditional Irish pine furniture throughout. The cottage has three bedrooms, two double bedrooms one ensuite and a large twin bedroom ensuite with large patio doors to the garden area.
Each luxury bathroom has a large walk-in power shower, separate full-size bath, fitted hairdryer, under floor heating and heated towel rails.
There is an additional utility room, and porch area. The full gas fired central heating and double glazing throughout the cottage provides comfortable all year round accommodation.
Housekeeping and heating is all included in our rates there are no extra charges, additions include DVD player and board games. There is an outdoor barbecue area and a play area in the garden for children.
