This beautiful apartment is located in the heart of Nesso offering picture postcard views of Lake Como and the western side of the lake.
Nesso is a strategically located town half way between Bellagio and Como and the perfect base for those who wish to enjoy exploring one of Europe’s most beautiful area’s.
Not only is it well located for touring it also offers the visitor the opportunity to really live and enjoy life as part of a real non tourist Italian lake-side town giving you the opportunity to easily max with the locals whether shopping at the local alimentari just a stone’s throw away or enjoying a pizza at the family run pizzeria just five minutes walk from the property.
Nesso Town house is approximately 100 square metres and is very comfortable for four persons. The property offers a terrace from where you can enjoy those never ending lake views. There is a large open parking space where up to two cars can comfortably park.
Entering the property (five steps) you have a well lit both naturally and artificially, living room which over looks the lake.
The living room is well furnished with sofa and arm chair and also has a table which can comfortably seat six persons. From the living room you can access the lake view terrace. There is a television in the living room which offers Italian channels only.
Almost opposite the living room is the new kitchen which is well equipped with many modern amenities including dishwasher, fridge and freezer, electrical oven and microwave and American coffee machine.
Also here in the kitchen you have a table with six chairs where you can enjoy some of your meals.
Just off the corridor leading to the bedrooms there is a small half bathroom with toilet and sink.
Here at Nesso Town House we have two bedrooms, One Double Bedroom and One Twin Bedded room both of which boast a beautiful lake view and are comfortably furnished with lots of space for your belongings both in the chest of drawers and the wardrobes.
The bathroom is conveniently located near to the two bedrooms and has both shower and bath tub not to mention sink, water closet and hair dryer. The property is equipped with a washing machine.
The town of Nesso is well served with the public boats offering you easy access to exploring many of the lakes towns and villages from the best possible place, the lake itself. Como and Bellagio are a simple 20 minutes drive away. Milan and Lugano just an hours drive away and the beautiful Swiss Town of St. Moritz in the heart of the Rhaetian Alps a very scenic two hours drive away.
The nearest large supermarket is in Como itself however you can find most things that you may need in Nesso itself.
Nesso is on the Como "Leg" of the lake, along the road from Como to Bellagio. It is an old centre with picturesque groups of houses spread along the hilly slopes and along the shore of the lake. The village centre is situated in the point where the Tuf and Nose streams, which descend the Pian di Tivano, join and form the waterfall that plunges spectacularly into a gorge.
The latter can be seen from the road or from the lake, by passing under an old bridge in a boat. Nearby there are ruins of a castle, with a high wall and three small towers. The Pian di Nesso is at a height of about 900 metres. It is a scenic mountain locality and is on the way to Monte Palanzone and Monte San Primo. |
