  I have two words for this place; Stunning and Impeccable. Rarely would I give such high praise for a rental property, but this place is pure first class. Photos just cannot do justice in helping to describe how nice this house is, how much thought was put into the design and how gorgeous the surrounding property is. No expense was spared by the owners in the building of this home. All the rooms are huge. The ceilings are very high, making you feel like you are in a mansion. The decor throughout the home is like something out of a magazine. All the furniture is extremely comfortable and there is plenty of room to entertain as we did when we invited some local friends over for dinner one evening. They were as shocked and impressed as we were. The home is clean and perfect… I mean there isn’t even a scratch on the moldings. I think this house is six years old, but it looks like it was just built yesterday. Hardwood floors in the living areas, carpet in the bedrooms and slate tile in the bathrooms. The bedding in the bedrooms are all high-thread-count with big thick comforters. The dinning room table is big and impressive. The living room with the big flat-screen TV and all the cable channels on the DVR was great to relax in front of in the evening. Even the cooking utensils, appliances and double oven in the well-designed kitchen is perfect. We stayed in the winter and built fires in the fireplace. This home is just plain comfortable. These are the kind of owners who actually spend time living in their rental and perfectly understand what you need. It’s the little touches that we came to appreciate so much and there are just too many to put into words. The view out the massive front windows overlooking the mountains and the town seems to change hourly. As the sun rises and sets, the view changes and the mist and clouds add character to every photo we took. It’s so quite and peaceful outside and the air is clean and crisp. The home is about fifteen minutes out of downtown Waynesville. There is plenty of shopping and restaurants in this small town in the mountains. On top of that, you are only about forty minutes away from Ashville and there are lots of things to do and see in that city. I could go on and on, but I just want to thank Ron, Mary Jane, Fran and Dave for making our stay so comfortable and your home is just beautiful.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, adventure seekers, girls getaway, people with disabilities.

  Wow! I feel like we really lucked out getting to stay here - what a find! This must be one of the most gorgeous views in the Smoky Mountains. I don't think I have ever seen more stars - just breathtaking! We spent most of our time on the deck just enjoying the view. The leaves are changing more each day and it is a treat to be here at this time of year. I was so impressed with all the little touches you have thought of inside the house - I was not expecting such luxury! There are so many memories from our stay - this vacation will be hard to beat! Thank you for everything - we are so grateful.

  We have vacationed in the Smoky Mountains several times over the years and our visits have always been wonderful. This was the best location and rental we've had the pleasure of staying in. Your home and the view is spectacular. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

  This home was absolutely beautiful. It was even better than the photos. The view from the large deck was breathtaking! We took many pictures of the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The home was absolutely immaculate and we had everything we needed. The home was well stocked with pans, utensils, towels, etc. The owners called us the first day to make sure we made it and if everything was satisfactory. We didn't eat out much at all because we cooked our breakfasts and dinners in the nice kitchen. Visiting the Biltmore Estate was fabulous as well as the beautiful falls in and around the area. The house was located where it was easy to get to Asheville, Cashiers/Highlands and Gatlinburg, TN. Great Wal-mart in Waynesville. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend. My parents liked the area so well that they are going to drive their 5th wheel up to camp in the Waynesville/Maggie Valley area later this year!!

  Thanks very much for the wonderful welcome we received upon arriving at your home. Even though there was no one here when we arrived the house welcomed us with open arms. We felt so at home right away and the furnishings are just wonderful – rustic elegance. We had a wonderful Christmas here in your home – brought our tree and all the trimmings too! It was so beautiful with the fireplace blazing – so cozy, warm and sweet. A wonderful Christmas for our family. May your home continue to be blessed beyond your wildest dreams.

  We have felt so comfortable and at home here in your beautiful house that a week has gone by much too quickly! The website does not even do this fantastic view justice – you just have to experience it to believe it, and the stars at night just lit up the sky along with the milky way since it was a new moon during our visit. There is so much to do in this area, we could use about a month to take it all in. One day we got on the Blueridge Parkway which is so conveniently located less than a mile from your house. Thanks for sharing your beautiful and well-stocked home – we certainly want to come back in the spring. It was a delight watching the hummers and feeding your catfish!

  Thank you for a wonderful two weeks in your beautiful, immaculate and totally equipped mountain home with a sunrise we looked forward to each day! What a great family gathering spot-we enjoyed our children for a fun 4th of July weekend and watch the mountain fireworks from your deck! What a treat. Your black bear footstools were the hit for our three toddler grandchildren. Also feeding the fish in the pond. We were all in awe of the noise from the bull frogs, but never were able to see one! My granddaughter has 2 of your caterpillars in jars waiting for them to turn into butterflies! Again-thank you! Our stay was so comfortable and relaxing and we look forward to another stay in the future

  We had a fabulous week in your lovely home! The house was so beautiful, comfortable and just lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped. The views were amazing. It was close to Waynesville, yet secluded. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us, Ron!
