Wow, What a Wonderful Experience

The Sandecastle is extraordinary! The house was beautiful and I didn't want to leave once I got there. The inlaid tile around the fireplace and in the kitchen and the floors are beautiful. The house is filled with art work created by the owner and decorated with an artist's eye for the unusual. The wrap around porches are relaxing and great for meals to watch the sunrise or for gatherings or parties. The bedrooms are luxurious and comfortable many of them have their own porch. Actually you could spend a lot of time going from room to room just marveling over it's beauty. I can not say enough wonderful things about this home and hope to return very soon.

Beauty and the Beach

A true fairytale beach destination. This gorgeous home leaves nothing to be desired - from the secluded beach front location to the expansive and very private ocean views. The colors, decor and attention to detail of the exterior and interior of this Isle of Palms paradise are perfectly in sync with the natural beauty of this Atlantic Coast beach. Enter this beach castle through custom stained glass doors into the interior, a visual feast for the eye. The authentic gourmet kitchen is decorated with blues, greens and lavenders - all reflective of the ocean view observed from several porches and balconies. These include a dining area, a sitting area and screened porch. In addition, the ample "living space" including high ceilings and gorgeous artwork throughout is perfect for large family gatherings while also providing warm and intimate settings for smaller groups. Roomy bedrooms are individually decorated by a local artist and boast large closets, luxurious bed linens and comfortable bathrooms with hand-crafted mosaic mirrors, tile work and stained glass windows. Master bedroom includes private balcony overlooking the ocean. Walk across the short boardwalk over the sand dunes to experience the beach. Stroll for miles along the shore and then saunter home to enjoy a dip in the pool. All senses will be indulged during a stay at this magnificent beachfront property.
Owner response:Thank you so much for your beautiful review! We are so pleased to hear from our guests who truly appreciate the unique beauty of the Sandcastle. We hope you will come back to enjoy it for years to come. Thank you again for such a lovely review. - Ashley

The Sandcastle provided a wonderful vacation experience. The home and grounds are breathtaking and the views of the ocean from the numerous decks are amazing. Breakfast on the deck followed by a morning stroll on the beach provides a great preview of the day to come. A day of shopping in nearby Charleston or exploring the many historical sights followed by a fantastic dinner in town (or preparing your own in the gourmet kitchen at the Sandcastle).....HEAVEN!!!!

I stayed at the Sand Castle for a week and it was absolute luxury and comfort. The house was clearly designed and beautifully appointed by an artist and personal touches were obvious everywhere. The access to the beach was wonderful, the view incredible and a peaceful, serene experience all the way around. I would love to go back several times a year.

The house is the vacation!!! With the ocean as the music and the sky as the ambiance....food tastes better people look prettier, life is truly sublime! All day can be spent in the pool, then the beach and finish it all of the with a meal on one of the porches over looking the water that was prepared din the former kitchen. This home has every finishing touch one could imagine and the art work and decor is breathtaking. This is the nicest house I have ever stepped foot in and I have been to castles all over Europe. This home has all the raw materials to make memories with your loved ones that will last a lifetime.

This house is a work of art. My family spent a week here with friends and we were impressed by the luxurious amenities, the stunning architecture, and the proximity to both beach and pool. We had absolutely no complaints and will stay here again for years to come.

This house is amazing. It's gorgeous and the views are amazing. Our kids loved that it was so close to the beach and also has a salt water private pool. And, it's huge! Three bedrooms have private baths and 2 have private verandas overlooking the ocean. The kitchen is ideal for cooking big meals, and you can eat inside or in one of two outdoor patios. We loved it. It is a very special place. You won't be disappointed.
Owner response:Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I hope you and your family will be our guests at the Sandcastle next summer as well!
