Casa de Loreto is one of the most unusual houses in the city. An antique cantara stone fountain and lush lawn and garden are surrounded by our outdoor sala, the main house and a separate casita, which is included in the rental.
French doors are featured throughout, bringing the garden right inside. The outdoor living room has a dining area, and comfortable cushioned sofas and chairs. A charcoal barbecue makes it the perfect spot for entertaining and relaxing. Above the sala is a very large roof-top garden with a large table with umbrella for morning coffee or watching the sun set in the evenings.
There is a new studio/guest room off the master bedroom and a roof top terrace above the guest room which offers the most spectacular view of the famous San Miguel Paroquia, views of the city, the farmlands, and hills beyond.
Warm terracotta walls and polished tile floors coupled with comfortable top-quality furnishings will make you feel instantly at home. You will love lounging on the down-filled sofa and easy chairs as you watch TV, entertain friends, or chat by the wood fire on cool evenings.
The open kitchen boasts all new appliances and cheerful lipstick-red tile. First-rate kitchen equipment is provided and the separate laundry room with brand new washer/dryer is handy.
Upstairs the enormous master suite features custom closets and cabinets. You'll love the 13-foot bamboo and beam ceiling, the balcony overlooking the garden, the large terrace with city views, and the wood-burning fireplace. Our custom-made queen-size bed with its delicious pillow-top mattress guarantees a good night's sleep.
The master bathroom will delight you with views of the garden and the city. A king-size tub and separate shower will pamper you.
The guest casita echoes the main house in design and décor. It features a romantic queen-siz bed, a mini-kitchen, a beautifully tiled bath with shower, living and dining areas, and a lovely view of the fountain and garden. It offers welcome privacy for visitors, older children or perhaps another couple who want to enjoy Casa de Loreto with you.
Our wonderful Luz, who lives right across the street, cleans main house twice weekly and casita once a week and deals with water, trash and deliveries every day. Her husband Gregorio is a talented gardener who treats our garden as his own. It's a lush, fragrant year round retreat.
All utilities up to $250 a month, wireless high-speed internet service, TV, cable, and telephone for local calls are included. Our excellent property manager will be delighted to arrange transportation to and from all local airports and will be available to assist and advise you during your stay at Casa de Loreto. Arrangements for cooking and shopping services can be made for further charges if you wish.
