What a home! Newly painted and updated, this home has been filled with beautiful furniture, linens and décor, to create a space that is just right for relaxing. Each bedroom has a style all its own, the first bedroom has a stunning view of the cove and is complimented with a full size bed. The room is lovingly decorated with antiques, reminding folks of a visit to Grandma’s house.
The second bedroom is perfect for the kids with its handsome bunk bed and trundle, which sleeps 3. The room also includes a full size crib! A writing desk and bookshelf, with kid friendly movies, books and toys, makes this sunny room a nice place for some quiet time.
The third bedroom is a large master bedroom with its own luxurious bathroom. A custom suede wall finish provides a relaxing backdrop for a queen size bedroom suite and modern accessories. The master bathroom has a large shower and a garden tub, that is just right for a long soak.
The kitchen has all the basics utensils you will need to cook for your family, or just barbeque some steaks on the charcoal grill. The screen porch is the perfect place for outdoor dining, complete with lights and a ceiling fan. The living room has two seating areas, one with a cable TV and DVD player and one area for reading or visiting with your friends.
The indoor dining area features a game table and the credenza is filled with board games, cards and family games. For a faster paced game, try your hand at ping-pong on the deck. Enjoy your meals on the screened porch, overlooking the lake. It has it’s own ceiling fan and lighting, so it is a great spot to enjoy the outdoors all day and into the evening. You could just relax the day away at the boat house, dangling your toes in the water or jump right in for a relaxing swim.
Lake Gaston is over 30 miles long, spanning the border of Virginia and North Carolina. Summer water temperatures can reach 80 degrees! Fishing, boating, swimming, water skiing and tubing are favorite activities all along the lake.
