  We stayed at Summit in february and again it was fantastic. The condo we stayed in was very much what we expected to see. Everything was clean and in great working condition. The views from the unit were a joy to wake up to and the sunsets were magical. Everyone on the staff was a great help on anything that was needed or requested. Can't wait for our next trip. Great Tikibar. Loved it!!!

  My husband and I spent our anniversary at Summit resort in November. We rented a really nice, warm-colored condo, thanks to Emerald Coast Destinations. Whatever we saw on pictures, was exactly what we got. I liked the color-scheme and the way the condo was setup. Very cute and cozy! My husband loved the view from the huge window in the living room. Overall, great stay! Very good location too.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

  Rented this one-bedroom condo through Emerald Coast Destinations. Checked in just fine, on time. Very cute condo, I must say. Was spotless and smelled like flowers upon arrival (thanks to housekeeping). Pros: EXQUISITE ocean view, well-sized balcony, upper level, inviting décor, fully stocked kitchen. Cons: small counter around sink

  We were looking for a one-bedroom condo, just the two of us. Emerald Coast Destinations catered to us and offered this nice unit at Summit resort. Considering how good it looked on pictures and how close it was located to all the clubs and bars, we took it. Pictures turned out to be an exact representation of the unit. Hooray. We were glad to see how clean the unit was. It was supplied with all the stuff that a person needs and even had extra towels. Very cute unit. A must see.

  I have stayed here many times before.. This time I rented again through Emerald Coast Destinations and it was perfect!! We arrived the room was clean... and I mean clean!! Well stocked, clean room with great view over the pool. Comfy beds and nice furnitures.

  Summit is one of the oldest condos in PCB, but its still is the best place for vacation, rooms are clean and oceanfront. Located next to LaVela,one of the largest club in USA and across the street from Hummerhead Freds Seafood Restaurant and overy close to other activities. Pretty much walking distance to everything. We love Summit and sure be back next year again.

  The stay at the Summit was a great time. The location was great for those who enjoy the bars. Hammerhead Fred's, La Vela and Spinnakers were a great time and they are all just a few chips away. I would recommend this as a place to stay. The only thing I found as a down fall was that they do not let people who do not stay there to come in at all.

  This condo was absolutely wonderful! We had a great time. The owner was very easy to communicate with and we got a great deal! Would definitely recommend to anyone and plan to stay here next year!

Everything was essentially the same in the condo for both guests except that the water leak above this unit had been repaired. Therefore we can only assume that this guest felt they got more than what they paid for ;-)

  We stayed in one of the above units in May 201. The condo needed a few improvements - kitchen had some issues, shower curtain was moldy, random wet spots on the carpet, etc. but we got the week for such a cheap price that we just delt with it. You definitely get what you pay for. The property itself was awesome and the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella were definitely worth it. I would recommend staying at the Summit but maybe in another unit (unless the recommended improvements to the unit were made).

  Owner response: The owner of this condo takes great pride in keeping it updated. The condo has a new kitchen all new cabinets, sink and fixtures, new counter tops, new stove, fridge and a washer dryer that is enclosed in a cabinet out of sight. There is also a new side chair and a new sofa sleeper with a commercial grade mechanism and a thicker more comfortable commercial quality mattress. This guest called noted a little mold at the bottom of the shower curtain liner. We immediately replaced it with a new liner.FYI iIn this humid Florida environment when guests do not use exhaust fans in bathrooms mold can develop in just a few hours. We reinstructed our housekeeper to spray mold and mildew preventer on shower curtain liners to prevent this from happening again. The wet spots in the carpet in the hallway were caused by a leak in the A/C condenser line in the unit above this condo. Water leaked down into it through a common utility cavity. If the guest had notified us this situation would have been corrected immediately by the onsite Summit Maintenance personnel. Other guests staying in this condo seem to share our opinion that this is one of the nicest units at The Summit and you actually get more than what you pay for.

  I thought the room was very clean and well maintained. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchenette was great. The room came with two beach chairs to use while I was there, complete with cute guy to set up the umbrella. I did spend a lot of time by the pool which was also well maintained. Check in was easy, housekeeping was great and the Summit was in walking distance of area attractions. The tiki bar staff was also friendly. I would definitely recommend this unit to my friends and family.
