A wonderful and rare getaway that offers all the amenities to host your family and friends, including three bedrooms and 1 ½ baths to accommodate you comfortably. This cedar-sided home is 2,500 square feet with truly spectacular expansive vistas from every window. To be sure, your eyes will see 12 miles of coastline, past Whistling Straits, clear down to Sheboygan’s lighthouse. The kitchen is fully stocked for any type of cooking you do! If you prefer to cook outdoors, we offer a large deck with a grill and patio furniture. Dining off this third level lakeside deck will imbue lasting memories of Lake Michigan’s breathtaking sunrises. If walking pleases you, there are miles of spacious, sandy beach shoreline for your pleasure. If birding is your passion, the Lakeshore Migration Flyway is awe-inspiring. Eagles, swans, osprey, ducks, blue herons, geese, songbirds, and the all important monarch butterfly are witnessed from the balconies as though you were at a live theater performance. This is the place where great novels could be written!!!
The owners of Saxon Sunrise on Hika Bay Bluff also own Saxon Homestead Dairy Farm (established 1850) and invite you and your family as their honored guests for a personal guided tour of their family farm. You can see first hand how cows are cared for on their 1000 acre pasture-based dairy and just maybe you will witness a calf being born.

The location is gorgeous. Our home is located about one mile north of Fischer Creek Conservation Area and about one mile south of Point Creek Conservation Area. These two miles of secluded Lake Michigan shoreline are virtually undeveloped and offer natural woodlands, meadows, estuary, wetlands, and coastal bluffs.

Area activities include: Lake Michigan charter fishing, sailing, several superb golf courses including world premier Whistling Straits at Haven WI, and renown Manitowoc Maritime Museum. Local area has rural character and offers numerous excellent restaurants and other outdoor opportunities.

Greetings! My husband and I want to welcome you to beautiful north eastern Wisconsin. Saxon Sunrise is located on a natural and picturesque bluff overlooking Lake Michigan. Our locale has much rural character yet is within 20 minutes of two delightful lakeshore cities, Manitowoc and Sheboygan Wisconsin. We are fifth generation dairy farmers and our family has resided in our neighborhood since 1850. We know you will enjoy your stay……

The view alone is worth the trip! This beautiful home is icing on the cake. We have had a relaxing and very enjoyable vacation here. Here are the kids' favorite parts: the beach, the hardwood floors (great for sock-skating), the big beds, the campfires & s'mores & the games. It has been interesting watching the insects change seemingly every day: so many dragonflies one day, teeny gnats one evening and many beautiful butterflies! The telescope is very fun. We could even see the top of the storm clouds (lightening) one night from a storm in eastern Michigan!! Thank you for providing everything we needed to make a special week of memories.

Our short stay here came to an end much too soon! My husband, myself, and 2 sons found your home to be the perfect, relaxing getaway that each of us desperately needed. The property is amazing! We made some fun family memories this week. The weather was cold so we stayed inside and discovered all the good hiding places for hide-n-seek. Our boys got to build their first fires in the fire pit. The sunrises were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the farm. Thank you for all your hospitality. I know our family will always have fond memories of our stay here.

Great accommodations, fantastic views, walks on the beach, fishing excursion on Lake Michigan, tons of salmon and great fun! We enjoyed the hospitality of the Klessig family farm. The biggest disappointment was the Minnesota Vikings loss to the Green Bay Packers! Thanks again for the much needed R & R.

We had a wonderful time at your beautiful house. We are 5 sisters who take a fall vacation somewhere new every year. We collected many stones on the beach and the weather was beautiful - about 70 degrees and sunny. Beautiful sunrises every day! Thanks again!
