Beautiful deluxe waterfront condominium, located slightly north of town, within an easy walk to everything. Inexpensive taxis are also readily available. This non-smoking, air conditioned unit (Cantamar 202) is located seven steps up from the sidewalk. It offers a private double balcony with table and chairs for your morning breakfast, and chaise lounge. There is a beautiful freshwater pool, with shallow area for little ones, man-made beach, and the ocean right at your doorstep, with some of the finest snorkeling/diving opportunities right outside your back door. The unit has two large bedrooms. The waterfront master bedroom has a king size bed, and the jungle-view second bedroom has two double-size beds that will sleep another four people. The ocean views are intoxicating!
Two remodeled bathrooms have everything you could need. Second bathroom has a full bathtub/shower. Master bath has a double-size shower. There is also the double jacuzzi in the master bedroom overlooking the ocean.
Only eight units share a private swimming pool and beach, with palapas for shade. Maid service is provided two times per week, with towels and linens provided. Beach towels are also provided. The kitchen is fully furnished with a breakfast bar, and the dining room table is extra large. Free long distance telephone incoming or outgoing to the United States or Canada (please keep calls short) and free high-speed wireless internet are also included (please bring your own laptop and ethernet cable), along with cable TV, VCR, DVD player, IPOD Docking Station, and CD player. This unit also offers a huge supply of DVD movies and VCR movies to enjoy. There is complimentary snorkel gear for guests for one adult male, one adult female, and one child. Child friendly: puzzles, cartoon videos and sand toys on premises. Makeup mirrors in each bedroom and hair dryers for guest use as well.

We went for a week between Christmas and New Year's with our sons, ages 17 and 20. We had a a fantastic time. The view from the balconies was stunning. The snorkeling off of the dock was fantastic. The pool and beach area were beautiful. The location, nice walk or short cab ride was perfect. Close to airport. Thanks, Diane!

My wife and our two kids, 11 and 10 stayed a week here and were enthralled with Cantamar and Cozumel. We walked in the security gate, saw the pool and the ocean beyond and knew we had arrived in our little slice of heaven. The condo was great, perfect for the four of us and the property was a delight, good neighbors and snorkeling right off the dock. We walked into town most nights for dinner and enjoyed the time strolling along the shore. San Miguel is a wonderful town, a little busy some days with cruise ships but friendly and safe. El Moro was a favorite restaurant, Del Sur, an Argentinian restaurant and El Pique were great spots. The breakfast on the roof of the museum was another great idea. Even though we headed down to Chakanab we found the snorkeling off the condo dock better and with more variety of fish and sea life.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

My husband and 2 of my kids - son 19 daughter 11 stayed 8 nights at this condo and I can't praise it enough! First the owner is thinks of everything-this unit is so well taken care of and all you need is right there. The snorkeling is wonderful and the entry in and out is very easy. I will absolutely stay here again !

This was a great find. Within walking distance of the square, it is a great location. Very quiet. Very private. good shore diving and snorkeling--- If you are bringing the family, this is a fabulous value. Our family of six (2 adult children, 2 middle school children, my wife and I) was very comfortable. The property is well maintained. The owners employ a grounds keeper, a maid, and a logistics person. These people checked on us regularly and made sure that any issues were addressed immediately. You won't have a waiter serving you drinks on the beach (not for lack of a great beach), but the place is beautiful and for the money saved, I was happy to be the family 'pool boy'.
