This property is perfectly located so that you can see the sun and moon set over the Pacific Ocean every day of the year. You see the road to Lahaina past McGregor Point in the North all the way to past Little Beach in Makena to the South. You can see the islands of Kahoolawe, Molokini, Lanai and sometimes Molokai.

From the lanai, you can see if the surf is up at the Cove a few blocks to the north-a great place for a surf lesson. Nearby you can swim with the dolphins and snorkel with the turtles. "Everything under the sun" kind of outdoor activity is nearby as well as great restaurants and world class golf. Fine dining and up scale shopping will be found in Wailea a short distance to the south. Or, more moderately priced restaurants and shops are found in Kihei.

This is definitely NOT your grandmother's Condo! Affectionately called, "the honeymoon suite". Beautifully appointed with Italian marble, granite and fine art. Very modern. This area is a National Marine Humpback Whale Sanctuary. The National Marine Humpback Whale Sanctuary Office is a few blocks away. There are other marine sanctuaries nearby such as in La Peruose for exceptional snorkeling.

  • This place is an awesome place to stay, from the front desk to the owner of the condo that we dealt with, we felt like we wouldn't want to stay any other place on the island. The lady at the front desk was very helpful in getting us started when we first arrived and the condo we stayed in was simply perfect! We stayed in a room that i saw on VRBO (#88289). This particular room is up on the 5th floor and has very nice views of the ocean from up there. I can recommend this particular condo owner for sure because she took care of all of my e-mails whenver i asked for something and she kept her place in great shape. She made my Wedding/Honeymoon very easy to plan. If you don't know where to stay in Maui and you want to have a very nice beach across the street from where you are staying, then this is the place for you. The kitchen and washer and dryers in all the units here really help out as well in keeping your costs low. The grills up on the roof are nice as well as watching the sunset and whales (seasonal) from there as well. There is an ABC store on the corner, and i would also like to recommend Cafe O'Lei for lunch right next to the property as well. Excellent meal for under $10. I look forward to returning to Maui one day, and i will want to stay at the Kamaole Beach Royale again for sure! One extra note: The construction has stopped behind the building for now, but when the housing does pick up again, construction could start as they have the land laid out for it (won't happen for at least 2 years), so the noise from there is a moot point.

  • Perfect condo! Nothing could have been better. The view was even better than the pictures! We indeed never wanted to leave. Thank you for being such a wonderful host and helping to make our honeymoon so very special. When we come back to Maui, this is definately where we will stay again. Everything was perfect.   • As the listing says, this very nice condo is extremely well situated on Maui -- it's amazing that grocery stores, other stores, restaurants AND the best beach on Maui are all just footsteps away. The views from both the condo and the rooftop BBQ area are spectacular. Falling to sleep to the sound of waves kissing the beach was a real treat. This is a hunk of heaven in paradise.
