  Booking this condo was easy and Nil was very accomodating with date change and the number of our party change. I was very grateful. When we arrived we called Lamartine and had to wait a few minutes for him to arrive. Checking it was easy. The best thing about this condominium is the location. We travelled by metro and bus to all of the sites and we found that most of the busses we needed was right outside our door. The location is very safe, but I found Rio to be safe in general. I did not find the "very dangerous city" people talk about. There is alot to eat right outside your door. You can spend lots of money on Ave Atlantica or spend less money on the streets one block away from the beach. The supermarket is across the street and we used it for breakfast items. RIO IS EXPENSIVE! The accomodations were adequate. I am not a fussy traveller and I do not spend lots of time in my condo or hotel room so certain things do not bother me, however if you are more particular traveller there are a few things that need attention in the condo for example the washing machine door is broken. None of these things disturb your comfort. The condo is also very clean. As another reviewer commented - the furniture is similar to what you find at IKEA. For the price you pay, it is worth it!

  Don't hesitate to rent it...We had a great experience with this beautiful functional apartment located in the best and safest area of Rio . But what impressed us more than all the apartments features was the attention of the owner Nil, extremely professional, efficient and committed to ensure a good stay and to provide any service , fast problem management when required. Margo is such the dearest sweetheart you can find

  Perfect place to stay in Copacabana. Stayed January 27-FEB.3 2012 for my b-day week. Awesome experience. Great apartament. Nil, Lamartini and Margo made me very comfortable and happy all thru my stay. Apartment was clean and well maintained.. A lot of restaurants and shopping in the área plus 2 blocks away from the beach. Will surely stay here again. Many thanks Nil!!! I Will definetely stay here again and Will recomend your lovely condo to my friends. God bless!

  My friends and I rented out this place with very short notice and Nil and his manager were very accommodating. (We went mid Nov 2011). It's pretty much true to the description...bathrooms are modern, small view of the beach, and the verandah adds a really nice touch. Plus it has a safe in the condo for you to keep your important belongings secure. If you have never heard of Tok Stok furniture--I'd say it is most comparable to Ikea, not quite luxury, but nice decor. For the price, the condo is great and highly recommended. Steps from the beach, two ATMs, grocery store, restaurants, cafe. And it feels safe which I thought was important. Very close walking distance to Impanema as well. I would definitely stay again!

  Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car.

  We stayed for 31 days from the end of Feb 2010 till near end of March 2011.The owner Nil is a really nice and helpful guy.He also lives in both America and Rio.We have been renting in Rio since Feb 2002.We have stayed at the good,bad and the ugly places.This place is up their with the best.We got a good price for carnival and the place has a great location.You can see the ocean from the balcony and it has a private bedroom next to it. Its has 2 other good sized bedrooms in the other part of the apartment.It is very clean and brand new Ac unit in living room.Good Tv and big refrigerator. It has two big and nice bath rooms.One has a nice whirlpool with jets and a sauna.The location is next to police station not that you will need it.It's near Eclipse restaurante which is open 24 hours.The apt is like one block from Zona Sul super market which is the best in Rio.You can always get a cab outside the door by the street. It has security fence and guard to buzz you in .It in a safe location and a little bar and restaurante 1/2 block down the street.I never wrie reviews but this place is great and the owner is really cool.We will be trying to get it again in 2012.

  Prime location. The service was impecable. Everything was within either walking distance or within a short cab ride away. The Penthouse was clean and well furnished. The property manager was available when I called or had questions. I will highly recommend this Penthouse to all my friends who come to Rio.
